Mavin. Same bad nights in a row. After start 8-1 now we all slow down. Time to step it up and find the winiNg bets. Don't give our money to the bookies :D

i still think Miami makes a big push but 8 points is ridiculous for a half especially playing in Orlando...
I will tell you what I thought seeing that line - we're all expected to play Miami as to say - they'll come back and win. The same was in Milwaukee. remember? I wanted to take Milwaukee there but chickened out. Well, not today. Only thing that worries me that in Milwaukee the spread did not overshoot the margin (was 12 points Bucks and the spread for the second half was Miami -5.5), and here it does (margin Magic by 6 points and the spread Miami -8.5). I don't know that is for better or the worse - but I like my chances here. And if I'll be wrong - so let it be. I will know how Vegas counts the second halves

I always loved sports and watched them my whole life before i started sports-betting. What is awesome about sports-betting though is watching every game becomes even more exciting and its like the playoffs every game and every day of year.

Here on Covers... every blue moon there's a bright person that comes along and shares insightful information. I usually don't take the time to read 99% of the posts here because honestly... it's bullshit information.
I have the mindset that I'd rather live and die by my own picks... because ultimately it's your hard earned money.
Once you started talking about Tuesday and Wednesday NBA... and how the "logical" picks come through... you caught my attention to read more.
This season's been a roller coaster ride for me. Weekdays slaughtering the books only to give it all back on Thursdays.
Breaking even is mentally exhausting.
I made a decision to ALWAYS take underdogs and the points who have a clear cut shot at winning the ball game. Hopefully this pans out in the long term.
Favorites will eat you alive in the long run.
Sorry for sidetracking... but your statement that mentions that avoiding a lost game is as good as a win is spot on.
Thanks for your insight... and your time to share. Best of luck in your continued success and Happy New Years.

Yeah that is very good logic Mavin for that 2nd half bet and with that number I probably would have taken it too. Its funny when i saw the line right as the half was starting I thought of the Bucks game as well. Heat can be so inconsistent at times and it becomes frustrating this year to bet on them. Like in the NFL its always good to bet on NE because they almost always show up for games ready to play and score points, so in turn you know what your getting out of them. Same can be said most of the time for OKC AND SA in basketball. Sometimes that happens in other ways too like for example when Houston plays against a running team in basketball this year, you can expect with confidence a very high scoring game. Unfortunately at this time I can't put that same faith in the Heat against spreads right now.
You know what i mean with betting on consistent teams Mavin>>??

With NE you can thank Billicheck. He always is blamed for not letting the foot of the pedal.
SA was the best ATS team last year I think and OKC has made it's ATS name on the first halves. Yes buddy, I know what you mean

I got faith in you brother but I was burned BAD last week and need my next few plays to get me back in the black. Going to show some patience with my next picks, might not play any big action until NFL weekend.
BOL on the Rockets and in the OT. I look forward to hearing your thoughts on NFL and will continue to follow your NBA posts.

Mavin and all in this thread don´t you think that today games are really strange? Is there a possibility that Oklahoma loose at home?
Remember what I said about the week day divisions? Today is Monday. Underdogs' day. Not all the games are ending in Underdogs covering, but the most. Houston is the straight game while Charlotte won outright, Orlando almost won but covered both the game and the second half, Indiana won straight up (not such a surprise). I think one of the two won't cover - OKC or SA. And one might even lose outright. Since it is not SA which leads by 8 in the half - OKC is a question mark, although the line moves and the money are in the same direction.
