The Heat won the last game without really cooperation from James (yes late but not a big day) and wade went from being Batman to being Robin to now being ball boy- He still has it I think however they are using him as a distraction to open up other players. I think this game should have a few more 3s fall for the Heat-
The Grizz are the better team as the teams stand- OKC is relying on trying to outscore memphis and not defending- Memphis has only gotten in trouble in this series when they try to run with the Thunder, they need to play like what they are Bears tough and Physical a Bear will never out run puma like animal- I think that if they saw the film they will see that when they slowed it down played D and looked for Gasol and Zebo in the paint they were in total control, turnovers and fast break points almost did them in the last game. If they stick to this game plan they win, if they decide to have a track meet they will lose.
As for the Under, with the exception of Game 2 and meaningless 5 pts at the end of the game the games have not really threaten the over. I would take under if a slow start hedge on a 10-15 basis or more, on a fast start that gets this to print 197-200 live I will double down on the Under play.
I do think the OKC game could be a close game so there is also a Teaser. I would post them here but don't know that people are doing teasers or parlays more of straight picks.
Game on what what!!!
Things worked out for the most part last night. I think the Bulls as expected have waved the white flag, thrown in the towel. It was just a matter of time before a bench less team gave up because of all the minutes the players have been forced to play. They had no legs no spark even Nate was quiet. Now the line in MIA is as high as other games- I don't know if Bulls try to make one last push early then head away to their vacation homes and regroup next year. That being said the Heat do not like the Bulls so they would not hesitate to pound them. I am not touching this line for now, maybe on a 3 team teaser but that may be about it. Time to start looking at Knicks and Pacers, either team matches well with Heat but I don't see how they can beat a team that is healthy and in sync.
As for the Grizz game I think the better team won, late in the season OKC even with Westbrook showed they have issues closing the tight games. This was first spotted when they lost at Home to Nuggets, then lost a close one to the Grizz in Memphis, then Wolves, Knicks, Bucks same deal all on the tail end of the season. I think this has more to do with coaching, play calling and clock management than talent. That being said I am on Grizz again if they win fine, if they lose series should end the following game after a loss. Only 8 Teams have comeback from 3-1 in NBA- in NHL it is 20- it almost became 21 last night if not for the miracle comeback by the Bruins.
Today leaning GS for same reason as the other games, young team more hunger, and while it may be warranted I don't know that Spurs deserve all the juice they get on their lines. Sure there is a lot of talent and alot of rings and accolades in that team but that is in the past, if experience won everytime the Super Bowl should have been won by someone other than the Raven. I think youth plays a big part. I think that is what drives GS- again the key for them is they have to shoot 50% or better from the floor and get the offensive board, keep bogut out of foul trouble and have curry and thompson drop some 3s get ahead then learn to manage the end of the game- that is the one thing that youth lacks is ability to close.
Interesting trend so far as far as I can recall all the OT games in the playoffs in NBA have gone the way of the home team.
