I am not posting to drain my weasel on your thread KO. HA can easily win this game SU. I am just not ready to play it yet though.
 
IF I felt Warriors defense could make some key stops in this game; I would have already loaded up on it. What makes you think they can shut down Bulldogs offense? Is Hawaii's defense healthy? Some questions there in my mind.
 
Maybe the dog points are enough to cover in that case. I don't see either team running away with this one.

Who uses "elite team"
and Hawaii in the same paragraph can only be considered a homer and all opinions regarding the game need to be discarded.

La tech had 11 net rushing yards against Navy. porter had 44.  against auburn, 96 net yards. porter had 56.

La Tech ran for 191 at Hawaii last year.
Porter had 82 of those.
UH's D gave up 147 on the ground to Wazzu
and 120 to UNLV

That is what coach was saying; his production IS down; and the reason is 8 guys in the box. That is in essence the challenge for them this saturday... Nobody can question Porter's running skills; that is not an issue. Running with 8 in the box IS THE ISSUE. So when you bet this game; like I said earlier... you are betting A> LT can pass and bust the 8 box thing or B> no freaking way they pass to bust that; they are gonna get crucified...

Warriors are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games as an underdog.

LA Tech was close with Auburn 13-10 and Navy 18-14 in the first half of both games. Adjustments were made at half time and they got crushed.  LA Tech got eaten up for over 500 yds of rushing between Auburn and Navy.  Hawaii if they were smart should come out running the ball and do opposite of what LA Tech is preparing for.  Then beat them with the pass.  Both teams are on extra day to prepare, As we all know HAW second rode game, and they don't take a bus.  HAW defense beaten up alittle don't think they will shut down LA Tech, if they stack 8 Jenkins, 128 passer rating can throw if needed.  HAW hasn't played anyone, LA Tech hasn't played a "Florida" but Auburn and Navy are better than any team HAW has faced.   If La Tech prepares well gets some pressure and doesn't give up the big plays La Tech has a good chance.  Never trust Lousinana football they are crazy down there.  For what is worth they are doing some "Red Out" Promotion Wed. Night for the Fans.  I think the crowd comes fired up and LaTech comes to play.  If I play the game I take LA Tech giving 2.5 first half.

Some corrections. 

Was last year's game played in Hawaii?

Last year game was 24-7 with under a minute left.

What the point Hawaii is a completely new defense and offense this year.  These boys are warriors, and thus i will stick with my original thoughts. 

La Tech and Hawaii are WAC teams and are on the same level of play.  I am hope ing for a big push out of Hawaii's D line.


Why no mention of Livas out of the LA TEch backers?  That boy can play

Good Point MasterKush, Livas 3 returns for td's last year, 1 vs Navy special teams could critical for LaTech and feild Position.  He can catch to.

hawaii only won on the road against Wash ST. because wash state left pullman washington the day of the game, had a 5 HOUR BUS RIDE to seattle and was stale. hawaii was in seattle and had a 5 MINUTE bus ride to the field....hawaii won the game because of the travel, and travel is too much to over come here....

that and the fact taht HAWAII is gonna be so gassed on D, because their offense will score so fast that they will have the ball for 20 minutes, score 4 TD's and LA TECH will have the ball for 40 minutes and score 5 TD's.  I see this game tied in the 4th and LA TECH pounding the football when this game really matters, in the final 7-8 MINS of this football game...

La tech hasnt pounded any team as of yet but a lowly team called nichols state. If your basing it on nichols state see you at the welfare office and im the one who will be handing you out your food stamps.  GL

This the third road game in a row for Hawaii..traveling over a 19,000 miles.you dont think that this will have an impact on this game especially if La. Tech runs the ball down Hawaii's throat. I think Hawaii may run out of gas by the 4th quarter..but this is just my opinion...

Hawaii can score a lot of points, so i will take Hawaii's offensive over tech's offense in a shootout any time.

I was actually looking forward to more Central Arkansas games to bet on...THEY ARE MONEY ATS!!! I was at that game, Central Arkansas is a good team, and could probably beat LATECH!!!

i am a hawaii fan and i do not think hawaii is an elite team by a mile. They have potential but their defense is their downfall.  Returning only one starter on defense hurts the team but they have awesome up and coming STUDS.  Both safetys come with a killer instinct and have intercepted a few each.  The offense is something else.  Once they get going they will be hard to stop.  Well WSU kind of held them on the 2nd half in which the WARRIORS only scored 3 points.  Look for HAWAII early.  If they have the lead, i see it very hard  for LaTech to keep up.  if HAWAII can contain the ground game, then they will be victorious.  taking HAWAII +4.5 small...\m/

Hawaii's D-line was missing 2 starters in paipai and john fonoti and was really thin at the DE.  I pretty sure 2 LB's had to fill in and play DE in that game.  That's why hardly any pressure on the QB.  Both players look to return in this game.

Ever since the Qb coach Nick Rolovich took over the call playing from OC Ron Lee in week two the offense has put up good number.  QB Greg Alexander looks like he found new confidence and leading the nation in passing yards per game.  Hawaii has 3 go to recievers this year in salas, bradley and palaris.  

If Hawaii's D can stay off the field and force 3 and outs Hawaii should blow out LT.  The jury is still out on Hawaii's D.  GL luck guys with your play
