I've been lurking these threads for a while now, so I'm familiar with the goings on.
First, thanks for doing the leg work, posting plays and engaging in conversation and trying to help educate people. It's interesting to read.
I get what you're saying about banging your head against a wall. You gotta be exhausted doing what you do, grinding it out. Then sharing it here only to get flamed, called a liar and degen. Having people counting on your plays like it's buying diapers and formula for sweet baby Jesus. Having others just pop in to ridicule you on minutiae and typos. It's lame and I don't know why you do it. However, it can't be new or unexpected on internet forums, it just comes with the territory.
With all your guarantees this week I'm really interested in seeing how
it plays out, mostly for my own education going forward while making
some money with you along the way. Been trying to follow this week to
scale as best I can. Missed some plays due to timing and work or just
not really understanding the value. Missed some wins, missed some
losses. (Missed Seattle play tonight, bummed on that, had to close up
at work and just missed the play with no live betting on it at my
book). Mostly looking good and consistent much like you did last week
even with the losses and rise in scale.
In the past I've been that emotional gambler you're talking about. My
mood following the wins and losses, not even day by day, but play by
play.
Slowly I started learning you gotta play the long game if
you want to win. Crazy plays, stupid mistakes and other uncontrollable
factors are going to get in the way of your plays every day but staying
the course knowing your expected value is how you win. It was an
expensive lesson, and I learned it the hard way (still learning).
I
agree with the
poster earlier who said "cap your own games." If I had more time I
certainly would. However, if others have more time, knowledge,
statistics, are doing the work and you can track their plays and results
to know if they are legit or not, I think following with calculated
risk is fine and a lot of fun/profitable.
I get that not all
plays are going to hit and you need to take it all with a grain of salt
confident that you're making the plays for the right reasons. With you specifically I don't
fully comprehend making plays you think will probably lose now for more
profit later, but that could just be me not having all the info. (why
not just skip those plays and cash the bigger plays later? are they positive
EV in the long run?)
The haters and trolls and people jumping on and off are not seeing the bigger picture or they get off on being the first to call out somebody crashing and burning. (not that that is happening they just want to call it before it does) Some might really think you are going against what you've preached in the past. Some concern is legit and others are emotional wrecks with the rest just hungry trolls looking for the next meal. I don't know why people don't just stay out of threads or keep their mouth shut without anything constructive to say but it's just the reality of this time and place
Anyway, not really looking for a lesson or explanation and not trying to hijack the thread or get in the middle or talk you out of anything. Just wanted to chime in and say some of us are listening, some of us get it and appreciate it.
But, I do think if you leave or take a break or whatever, then you're being just as susceptible to the emotional highs and lows only instead of the plays you make you're letting other people's reactions to your plays get to you. That's something you definitely can't control.
In the end, if you leave, very few will remember and fewer will care. You'll be just another meal for the trolls.

Can't blame the guy for leaving one bit. The dude breaks down his betting
strategy to the simplist terms, then follows through and delivers on a
consistent basis (so long as you follow his style)... addresses most questions thrown his way with thought
out, deliberate answers and still recieves garbage. Yes, he comes across as
arogant but who cares? He's earned the right to be that way.. Dude's a
winner with lots of knowledge. If you're following his betting style week to week and scaling
down his bets to an approximate scale relative to your bankroll, than you're way up, even with that bad week last week. I really don't get all the hate... at all.

You need to think of things in terms of years, not weeks
of course you think annually, but if you focus on winning weeks, allot your self 25% losing weeks, and winning weeks must be at least 300% of losing week amounts--trust me, you win the months,seasons, and years.

Only 1 losing week above $115 (-$2112)
As the season progressed nearing the end, every week, EVERY week I step up the amount at risk (up or down) to take advantage of the most information available (for the season) on every team. and I am accuses of 'chasing'
Not one day this week have I started, or ended the day negative, and I am accused of 'chasing".. are you people really that freaking stupid? What would I be chasing if I am in the black for the week, the season?
Because I step it up I am accused of playing 'fake money'

Well Trolls, I raise the white flag, and I surrender. I cannot tolerate this level of stupidity, I have clearly demonstrated I consistently win in an environment of people that lose consistently.Yet, you are so intimidated by someone who can do what you cannot, that
you would prefer chase them away instead of accepting the fact you cannot do
what I can do.If you thought about it,
you would change you attitude and disposition, but that is your exact problem,
you act and react like a primitive animal as opposed to actually thinking it
through.So now I will not be here for
you to follow anymore after tomorrow, and you can continue losing your money
and not having to endure the feeling of inferiority.Yes, I am cocky, and I am arrogant in this
game, but I have earned the right to be so.I have proven, and shown you what you do not have the ability to do,
