-Plays pending more analysis-

The public won all three games last night and all home teams won last night which has been rare in this years playoffs- today all home games series are 3-2 with two of those having the home team in a position to close things out.

Grizz

I am in a position where if I was torn with OKC - MEM I can't back OKC because of my series bet on OKC- The only good situation was last game where I teased MEM- here it is a bit difficult to middle because the spread is so small- I am buying the two points for my own protection but for the contest goes at +2.5. in order for OKC to seek a game 7 they will need a monster game from Durant and play anything that sort of resembles a defensive attempt. Can OKC will themselves to a victory, sure anything can happen, but if they are down big and they have been in four of the first five games I can see MEM going to their staple play which is ground grind and pound. I really don't know why more teams don't do this, including the Spurs who are up by 20 in most games v. Mavs and keep trying to run them out the GYM- when you are up by double digit prevent defense can prevent you from winning they say... but it is a timed sport and when up huge the clock is your friend. These would all be subject to live hedging but I have a very creative parlay which you can see below- that hinges on OKC winning the series and while it is 1/2 a unit play it has lots of credited wins and thus makes the potential loss quite significant to the tune of a 60X multiple, which means my play on the Grizz while it has good data to back it up it is mostly a hedge play on that parlay.

Hawks

This for me is simple, I have prop bets of a 4-2 Hawks series win, series win hawks and series ending in 6 and Pacers not winning the Eastern conf that was -170 but when parlayed its valued at +235 all one unit plays which have been covered by the Hawks wins so far so now its all the houses money sort of speak. Which means that Hawks ML today is an easy pick for me because not much too lose and its more of an add on bet. Stat that stands out is this that the Pacers have a series record of 0-10 when trailing into a game 6 and a game 6 record of 3-7 and while I don't like perfect trends as the 0-10 the circumstances here are not looking good for the Pacers its just a bad match up- if they go big for the rebounds they can't run to defend the smaller quicker Hawks, if they go small then they can't rebound when the smaller Hawks miss the three. This series as pointed out before is a mirror image of the Bulls Wiz series where it would have been better series if the Bulls faced the Pacers and the Wiz faced the Hawks oh wait  that is where we are headed. 

Clippers

Here we have a matchup that on papers appears to be a very evenly matched series and so far the games have been wild where you had two close games and two blowout games one of each by each team- I guess that can be considered an even match- However I think that we can physically see that the Warriors will live and die by the hands of Curry and Thompson and as good as the tandem is- maybe best ever, def best I have seen but am not by any means old, I can't bank on them having an on or off day, down low it seems that the Clippers with Jordan and Griffin have the edge and the Clippers job is to guard the three point line and for them to drive to the basket to create bonus situations- leaning Clips here- I also have Clips series on two tickets one pre series and one after the game one loss.

Hawks could not close the deal guess the too perfect a trend read was a good one and should have sided with a  totals 1/2 bet which I did have but not posted because it was live countered by an over 1H that was a good middle- it seems to be that points are easy coming so far today- sets up a very interesting situation for game 7 for those with series bets. Need to work out the numbers to see what my play will be. The hedge to try and middle a close game in OKC today seems to be on the downhill way which is good as long as OKC can win the series-

Clips are the only team left on my pre game picks today- the live hedges worked well- so now the potential short day pattern is do all three at risk advance? v. do all the away teams win. I have Clips series and since not at risk have my clips pick today-

The funny thing is that the owner of this thread who does not show up here - picked ML win for the Thunder same as he picked MK win fi=or the Grizzs in a previous game cashing big. But not in this thread and not on Covers

If you faded me you either don't know what fading is or you have trouble with reading comprehension please read my reasoning and how I clearly stated the first two were protective or correlate plays to my series bets and so far I am up 5 units live after the two unit loss on the first two games. While you can't back up how much $ you made on those play which maybe is one unit I can def back mine up so keep fading if you know what that is!

Let him be its all good and in good fun… if you really analyze his post he tailed my big plays and faded my small plays- thats a smart play he just does not know that he did that because reading is not his strong skill.

Well said. I've been an avid MK fan from the days he introduced the format later picked by Mavin and now continued by phixer. Every season some new addition makes it big. Last season it was Turbovtk, Phixer and Kingmidastouch and now there anew stars like blue-bird and vegas 311 and the next season there will be new once but the profits are made in fun and respectful way. Interesting day yesterday- all the dogs covered and won and no one went home with their tails between their legs and an end to their season- I was really counting on clippers to get it done to avoid having to hedge to positions today- I do however like how high the lines are and for me it becomes a no brainer to do the spread B2 on Grizz to protect the larger payout of the OKC series. If OKC does win hopefully win not cover- then same scenario for the clips-  here is one of the tickets at risk with OKC first then Clips tomorrow...

Just finished looking at TOR BKN game and like both TOR +5 and over 192. Might have to jump on it after I finish analyzing the other games.

As for todays games we have the same scenario as last night- I really doubt that every gets saved again today- the Hawks and Clips game were a bit "funny" OKC ruled and with conely potentially out this could be the edge they need to get over the hump.

It was really impressive how the Nets came back from that large deficit to almost win the game specially after having no FG's in the last 6 min or so of the prior game- I think we get a better performance from them at home tonite- I am on ML not sure on spread yet- series bet at risk on Nets which is bigger than the Raptors Series bet-

As for the Spurs they have been in control most of this series and then at the end they seem to forget that the time is your friend- Dirk was Dirk last game and made it too close for comfort- I had a nice middle in that game and expect this to provide same opp- I am on ML and Spread Spurs for now - even though I have some series bet going- those are not at risk- being that the Hawks as an 8th seed failed to send home the 1 seeded Pacers this may be the 1-8th combo that ends today-

As for the last game I am on Blazers I have a series bet and if someone is going home is either the Mavs or the Rockets- I am on ML and Spread Rockets- series not at risk- don't have a rocket series bet- Same as the Spurs the rockets seem to forget that when up a lot eat some clock- I think if Rockets fall behind and start the jacking the three they will live or die by the jumper- hopefully the latter.
