It would be nice if everyone would leave their side conversations off the thread and allow this to simply by Phixers picks. There has been some meaningful conversation by others but not that much. I would selfishly say I want Phix to post simply so I can tail. I would not blink twice if he decided not to post because of the a $$holes that troll on a daily basis. It oy takes one bad apple to ruin a good thing which may be the case here. I would hate to see the bad apples win but that is reality. It's easy to talk smack from your keyboard and play the tough man but I'm sure that would not be the case if we were all talking in person. You are correct, phixer. These trollers are services and books. Someone giving free picks, free winning picks, is a threat to them. The services get hit twice. One, they do not get the money from the signups AND they lose money from people winning because MOST of them have affiliate accounts with the offshores and they receive a certain percentage of the money that their clients LOSE when someone signs up with the book through one of their links. So they collect twice AND they make more money if they give losing plays to their clients.. That is why most of them have offshore book links on their websites. When you click it, you are registering under their affiliate account.
I know how all this works because I have a service and a website. I DO NOT hawk that on here because this IS NOT the forum in which to do that. And I DO NOT have any affiliate accounts with ANY books. To me, that is a monumental conflict of interest.

I also realized, as most of us do, that Vegas and all these offshores were not raking in all that cash based on the intelligence of the betting public. I started crunching numbers and looking at trends, the public "herd mentality", situations, how injuries affected lines, etc, and certain stats. I do it as a challenge. Not to shaft those who were willing to give me a chance to win for them. I know it is hard to believe, but there are some of us who do this for enjoyment and personal satisfaction. After reading past pages I see you don't post until closer to tip. but you leaning one way. I saw earlier where you had G S for this game, but did you think they would be favored this much after the way they have looked? I know they might have figured something out in 4th Q of last game but, still 4 points might be too much.
