Why you never pay a tout..........

I am new to posting and fairly new to sports betting, but I have some interesting info for all.
I am a member of a tout buying group. There are 68 of us who buy a tout's picks and share them with the group.
He are some interesting numbers from the group of 68 touts (by the way, these are some of the most recognized names in the biz):

total win/loss---1184-1197 in January
total units------  -167 units in January (the ones that do not put a unit amount was considered to be 1 unit per play)

If anyone wants to know a specific tout's record, just send me a message. I will only revel that in private.

Soooooooo sorry..........the above totals were mis-calculated.
the actual numbers are:  1236 wins and 1197 loses in January
                                    -94.5 units in January

This does change it to a winning record, but not enough to make it worth paying for.

Hi - krush, would you mind telling us what it costs to get that sort of info? To be totally straight with you on this, I've been connected with a group that makes picks very well and has NOT gone public yet, however we are probably going to in the near future. One of things we are doing now is market research to see how to offer these tips...So, if you don't mind talking about that part, I'd appreciate it.

To be honest with you, it is actually my brother-in-law that is in the group. I just give him $80 a month for my part in the group. The group is mostly made up of guys he went to college with. They have been doing this for well over a year, and he swears by it. It seems there are 2 ways to successfully use the info. One is to follow the touts that have been on a cold streak, because they know its going to turn around. The other, and this is how I use it, is to bet on the picks that a certain number of touts agree on. Even with the total record that they have posted together, by using it this way I went 168-124 +52 units. I bet on any game that at least 4 touts say take as long as none are on the other team. If say 10 touts are on one team and 2 are on the other, I make it a 2 unit wager.

 Research your own picks if you have the time. It works really well for me. I need the whole day off to get a high %. check this out:

Depends on the picks, these guys are consistent, don't get me wrong everybody will hit a little cold streak here and there, but overall it's ca$h ...

Well, hope you guys made some serious coin. I told you I wasn't fcking around. 

If you guys have some tout services that produce winners then thats great, but I know someone who's been working the phones for tout services here in Vegas for years and by his accounts they are total frauds. They get you on the phone looking to buy a $25 "play of the day" but then try to sell you on more expensive, better packages. And there is no set price they are working with, if they tell you it's a $1000 package and you insist you can't afford it, they'll drop the price until you can. If they hit a losing streak and a customer calls in asking what the F is going on here, they'll tell you the package you have is going bad but the "elite" package or whatever name they make up for it, is on a roll and if you'll just pay them a little more money then you can be in on that. They're basically just there to take the blame for your losses. They're trained to just listen to thier customers bitch at them when they give losing picks while at the same time making any promises to keep them coming back in the hopes of eventually winning big. The shitty part is the guy they talk into paying them $2500 is getting the same picks as the guy that only paid $150. It's all about getting the most money possible out of each person they talk to. There may be some good services out there but there are a big percentage that are nothing more than glorified telemarketers that are just trying to milk their customers out of every dollar they have to spend.
