Dijonai echoed her sentiments:

Court went on to say:

“Not about the arena, it’s about the prep. Never was a morning hooper“

Or maybe they are just making excuses.

A year from now, or even later in the season, I may come back to this but if this CON team has any self respect they will bring focus into this one. Chicago was rough but doesn’t have to kill their confidence. They still get two more chances against the sky. Outscored 33-55 in the first half last time out. They made it a bit of a game in the second but the hole was just too big at that point.

Connecticut has lost all of their confidence. I was worried about this after the Chicago game and talked myself out of it since they still had two more chances. They cant beat the teams they want to beat and so they dont care enough to beat the teams they can.

I liked NY Liberty + 5 but like a dope I stuck this STINKING GARBAGE Connecticut m.l. on the parley, I thought they were some badasses but they are getting completely smoked at home, Goddamn why do I bother betting this trash WNBA cant bet a dog or favorite.

A little stumble for Seattle after the big win against LV. A lot of emotion in this locker room with Charles joining and Bird retiring and all that jazz. The Dream looked a lot better in their last game, especially on offense as they finally got some weapons back. Hayes went off and Wallace was ultra aggressive. Wheeler hit some big shots. I think the long lay off for the Liberty plus revenge put them in a bad spot for that game. I went the other way with my money because I believed they could overcome those obstacles and I was wrong but I can still look back and attribute the Dream victory to things like this. Seattle will compete for a championship and just lost to a team battling for a playoff spot. I dont see that happening twice in a row, especially with ATL coming off a road OT win. Both teams struggle to score at points and defense should be a focus for Seattle on the road after a loss.

NY has a very interesting stretch coming up and with their position in the standings I can see myself betting on them a lot these next few weeks. Of all 12 teams, this 8-11 record is the least representative of the potential of the associated team. The wrong team is being favored in this one. We have a line of 4-5 because: the game is in LA, LA just beat Seattle, NY just lost to ATL in OT, and both teams have a 8-11 record. Liberty missed Dangerfield more than I thought they would but she is back with the team for the rest of the season and available to play tonight.  

Growing pains man. When I first started capping the wnba games, used to lose a lot. Just don’t give up. Just remember you can’t win if you never lost.
