Man the W has been rough to cap this season, seems like covid, the overseas commitments, the Olympic break, the Commissioner's Cup all have taken their toll on consistent play and injuries. One thing for sure might be the race to the bottom for Indy and Atl to secure the best chance (44%) for the #1 pick. The team w/ the least wins the last 2 seasons combined has the best chance at getting #1 pick. Right now Indy sits at 12 combined wins w/ 7 games left and Atl at 13 w/ 6 games left and they have a crucial game against each other Sept 14th that they both must lose haha as that will determine the season series and may determine the worst team due to a tie in least wins.
This isn't the 2012 Phx tank to get Griner but it's the next best thing. I remember that tank run by Phx and they didn't even come out of the locker room 2nd half in those last 7 tank games. Surprisingly Indy has won 2 of their last 3 games each by 2pts so some players aren't getting the memo or TPS report that wins = no bueno so I expect Indy to start the tank w/ only 7 games left and Atl perfecting the art of tanking going 1-9 in last 10.
Just hanging tight and watching 1st halves and waiting for a good 2nd half line rest of season w/ both these teams. Seems like Indy plays hard 1st half then maybe we get a good 2nd half line or TT under as the 8pt qtrs seem like they are coming. That Sept 14th matchup in Atl is must watch tank tv which is kinda hilarious.

I swear the WNBA is like 90% of people working from home from covid and still getting paid. It’s like this Wash/Minny game where Wash barely shows up and their like “I can’t believe I’m still getting paid for this shit” (in a Sebastian Moneskalko inflection) stat lines like 26% FG, 8 free throws, 3-16 from 3 haha I love embracing the shit product it’s a great barometer of our society pure trash

I think Chi get a home win on ABC over a Las Vegas team that really doesn't need this game and probably w/out Cambage so may not match the effort of Chi on this singled out road trip. Parker, Quigley and Vandersloot should get the win. Atl on the road has to tank as they are 1 win ahead of Indy for the race to the bottom so cannot afford any more wins as they saw Indy's plan in the 3rd qtr of last night's game against Phx. Indy is in full tank mode and Atl has to follow suit to try and lose their Sept 14th matchup and secure best odds of getting #1 pick.
