With Jonquel or without, I still like the Liberty to hang around or possibly win this game. If the Sun lock down on defense, sure they could get the cover, but I dont think they will. 2 out of the 3 games have been right down to the wire and the one blowout, the Liberty had a different cast of characters.  Sun's offense has been hit or miss all season and they struggle vs teams who can score: the aces, wings, and this same liberty team most recently. The liberty defense is cause for concern, but their terrible defensive rating since June 30th can be attributed to playing the Aces 3 times. Don't get me wrong, their defense worries me some; but I think with the 5 days off and game planning, they'll find stops. This will be the 4th game in 7 days for the Sun. Turnovers killed the Sun last game with 22 and 12 unforced. Could have some costly ones today.  Every team is motivated at this point, but the liberty are fighting for their playoff lives. The Sun can essentially stay in 4th even with a loss today.

 yeah big move...i took it last night and wrote that up this morning.  Not having Jonquel is a plus for liberty backers.  She stretches out the floor and is a monster shot blocker in the paint.  Brianna jones and Joyner holmes arent floor spacers like Jonquel.   Dolson can pull Jones out the paint on offense and wont have to guard both of their bigs on the perimeter like Jonquel.

I still like the liberty to be right in it to win it.  If the sun lock it down on d and liberty cant get their offense going, I just have to chalk it up.  But Liberty beat this team twice this season with Jonquel on the floor.  The last two sun victories dont impress me either: fever and dream.

New York back to bottem like beginning of season . Seems like they can only play 3 quarters right now

 yep, they havent been good off extended rest either and then they come with a plan to shake the starting 5 up with Johannes off the bench and Allen starting.  I dont know....didn't sit well. but sun just know who they are and liberty are still trying to figure it out...
