Since June 13 The Indiana Fever are 7-1 SU and Ats at home. They're in very good form right now. This is also a triple revenge game for them so they will be extremely motivated and focused today.
Connecticut Sun just came off of their Superbowl game. Finally beating the New York Liberty after losing 7 straight times to them during the regular season. (3 this year, 4 last season)
I feel this is a letdown spot for the Connecticut Sun and a maximum effort spot for the Indiana Fever.
Final score 85-78!!! Fever win outright.
Let's have a winning day everybody.

The Fever are improved, but they are not in the class of the 22-7 Sun. Connecticut just beat New York, the top team in the WNBA, in its last game this past Saturday (Last 10+ Games I do believe). Connecticut is an Elite team, probably the No. 2 team in the WNBA. The Fever are a below .500 club struggling to make the postseason.
In Adding:
The Sun are rested and won't lack motivation going against Caitlin Clark. The Sun won't play again for another three days so it's a good spot. Connecticut is the top defensive team in the league. The Fever rank second-to-last defensively. They also surrender 13 pts on avg..
The teams have met 3x already this season. The Sun have won all three with the average winning margin being 17.3 points.

Not sure you even read the OP. You bring up the Sun win over NYL and the Sun record vs IND this season as if they weren’t both addressed in the original post. It could be a difference in capping style, but I side with jduke on the idea that it’s much more difficult to sweep a regular season series against a team than it is to pick up a win after losing 3 straight. I also side with him on the idea that CON will have a letdown after finally beating NYL. Regardless of what happens tonight, in the long run you need to buy low and sell high. This is the highest the Sun have been after finally beating NYL. Time to sell. Especially on the road and especially against a team they’ve beaten three times already this season.
The Fever are not struggling to make the postseason. Chicago and Atlanta are battling for that 8 spot, but Indiana is clearly in.
Your general stats about this season series conveniently cover up the fact that the last time they played in Indiana it was just a 4 point victory for Connecticut and they were held to 40% from the floor.
Yes, Connecticut has rest on their side coming in, or could it be rust? 3 days off and 2 more after this? So they just got the monkey off their back with the Liberty upset and now they only play 1 game in a six day span. Wouldn’t surprise me if they lack some focus on the road in that situation.
