It’s hard to grasp what kind of team will show up when the Wings play. One day they can beat the Storm, next they will lose to a minnow team. But I do like the fact that they have something to play for as they sit in 7th spot and have a back to back set coming up against the Storm which is going to be tough. Mystics rested as well and have only allowed one team in reg time to score 81+ points in their last 8 games. We need either Arike to go off of and hit her shots or Mabrey to drain some 3’s for this to hit. Last game hit 152 points with a slowish tempo with both teams taking just 61 and 66 attempts, we saw 15/37 three pointers and just a low 19/27 free throw attempts. I don’t expect to see 15 threes again but I do think some more free throws and a bit of a faster tempo. We all know that these total a can come down to the very last second of the game as the bookies seem to have a great feel for this league and their lines/spreads but I do feel like we see this game creep over 160.

 I have no words for this game. I am glad it hit but these teams were 61-47 at the 7.37 min remaining in the 3Q. It’s was then 65-50 with 1.42 mins remaining in the 3Q. So they combined for 7 points in 5.55 mins? That is insane. 

Oh, also like to add, both teams went just  32-51 free throws for 63%… 

Just a very odd and frustrating game to watch. But we got there in the end.

I am glad Alisha is leaving Dallas after this season, also think McCowan needs to as well. Time and time again they have tried to rely on Arike to be this next superstar but clearly she isn’t. Gray is the wrong person to be leaving, they need to trade Arike. Hope Gray finds a decent team next season
