Seattle has lines that are just too many points right now. They played basically with 4 players against Vegas and until Bird gets more shot attempts I just don’t see how they get this number covered. Seattle’s bench has not filled in the gaps like previous seasons and this is going to get them.
Minny has a short bench as well but played The Merc to a 2 point game and were able to keep the Merc scoring under 80. I expect a tight game as long as the pace stays under control.
My issue is Stewart but the Lynx at home have always been good. It is early in the season but In my opinion Seattle is not the same team. They just lost by 16 points on home court. To me that’s a signal. That just isn’t right.
I will take the points until I get burned or see something that changes my mind.
Minny +5

Seattle has only been favored AT Minny 3 times since 2000. Seattle is 4-19 at Minny since 2000 but are on a 3 game winning streak in Minny. Yup do the math before the last 3 wins 1-19 at Minny.

Yeah I'm with you spot on this one. I'm not sold on Dupree and Magbegor. They don't stretch the floor enough for me. Clark and howard were big contributors vs the Lynx last season. Samuelson is off overseas, another girl who can stretch it so that means more Talbot. Who knows if bird is playing or not?
Lynx havent looked great on either end but it is their Spot as a solid home team. I don't know if the Storm can play defense with these new pieces yet.

2nd half spottie. If I've followed enough WNBA, it's that the team who is leading at the half, especially with a lead THIS huge, will semi implode in the 2nd half and Seattle MAY come within single digits..
But, we shall see..

Lynx pregame spread should be good but the Lynx ml? That's a different story. IF Seattle made a semi comeback in the 2nd half the other night against the Aces, they can do it here again. Then again, they may be "out of gas.." Same can be said about the Lynx and them being "out of gas.."

The Lynx can play slow down and get them out of their game or Seattle and Stewart can play up. We'll see I dislike Seattle's lines all together until the books start adjusting.

Suns huge consensus winner last night covered and tonight's lopsided consensus has the dog and books getting even. Anything can happen but if Seattle gets it done here tonight that will add more future value fading the Storm. I have seen that happen too. One sided action is never good in a season worth of action.
