YTD: 20-13

Only a few days left on the first part of the season before we have a small break due to the ASG. Doesnt look like a full week off though and these teams are really slamming these games in a hurry it appears. Some with favourable schedules and others not. Tonight I will be backing the Liberty against the Aces. Reason being is that the Liberty get Dangerfield back (she was rushed in last game) and although her stats aren’t amazing, she has definitely brought some energy to this team when they were down and out. Aces coming off some rest but did not look good on their recent road trip and the Aces have won the last 4 meetings but DD’s but I do see the Liberty trying to slow the game down and not playing to the pace of the Aces. Brondello under Mercury had a decent record against the Aces, going 10-7 SU and 12-4-1 ATS. She doesn’t have Griner or and in form Taurasi this time around but she does have Ionescu, Howard, Johannes and a decent supporting cast to try and keep this game within the number.

I don’t think I have seen such a crazy 1H like that. That was just insane. They combined for 20/33 three pointers, only took a total of 69 attempts yet we have a total of 118 points in 20 mins of basketball. We did see 18/21 free throws combined so if we minus that, we saw 100 points from the floor itself

 Agreed mate. I really wish they weren’t playing at this pace. Thought they would try and slow the game down and not get into a shot out with the best offensive team in the league.

Absolutely ridiculous score line. That must be a record in reg time? I remember a few seasons ago I think the Mystics put 120 on a team but the other team only score in the 70’s. Im going to check SDQL which only goes back to 2011.. 

Ok, so since 2011 the most a team has scored was both Aces (2021) and the Mystics (2016) who scored 118 against their opponents. 

most points I could see in reg time was 2011, Lynx vs Mercury and that was 217 points.

 What a baller… she took charge and delivered mate. Skylar apparently wants out of Phoenix and they are looking for a team to trade with, a rumour was circulating that NY would send Sabrina to Phoenix for Skylar but I highly doubt that as Sabrina is showing why they need to keep her and Skylar has definitely lost her edge since coming back after having that year off 

Appears that tomorrow is the last day before a small break before returning back to action on Tuesday which is a quick turnaround for those heading to the ASG.

After hearing Skylar wants out, hard to back Mercury with her upset and the whole team being a mess. Hard to also take the Liberty due to back to back games. 

Sparks missing several players who might return but not sure yet and the Storm coming off that massive 2H vs the Fever.

Sky up against the unbackable Fever who beat them last time. Sky got smoked by the Lynx and scored 78 today vs the Lynx. Another hard spot for them on a back to back as well.
