It's finally here. I didn't get to handicapping as early I wanted to, but did finally get it done. My preseason rankings are:
1. Aces
2. Liberty
3. Conn
4. Mystic
5. Minn
6. Dallas
7. Phx
8. Chicago
9. Atlanta
10. Sparks
11. Seattle
12. Fever (lol)
Clearly is Aces and Liberty then everyone else. I think Aces are slightly ahead of them with the addition of Parker and the fact that New York is such a new team, so could take a minute to build some chemistry.
I think Connecticut is undervalued given the futures market. I have them slightly above Washington. Tiffany Hayes and Tyasha harris are nice pick ups. They still have Bonner, Bri Jones and AT. So I don't think the Jonquel Jones loss is that massive. I also didn't realize how bad Seattle is looking this year. Sheesh. Will be interesting to see how Griner plays this year. I honestly can't see her doing too much. At least early in the season. We will see.
Some future bets I have made.... When Stewie was sending all those cryptic tweets this winter, I took that has she was going to New York so I have them +1200 & + 1000. I took some Jackie Young MVP @ 150/1 & 100/1. It's either going to be a member from LV or NY to win the MVP. Jackie Young kinda broke out of her shell last year and since Aja, Stewie and Jonquel have won the last 5 MVP's, I can see them giving it to someone different. Also took Kelsey Plum @ +850 for the same reason.
For tomorrow nights game. I did take Sparks -2 since Diggins, Peddy, Cunningham are all out for PHX. Also played Mystic under 164.5.

Gl with the plays tonight Casey, I’m with you on that under. I totally agree with you about the Sun as well. JJ is a big loss, but I don’t think they’re going to lose much, if any offensive production this year with Brionna being able to step into a bigger role and Hayes/Harris being upgrades over Courtney Williams. I originally had Liberty #1 and Aces #2 in my rankings but I think I’m leaning toward switching that. Aces starting 5 might be the greatest the WNBA will ever see lol. Teams historically have had a really hard time defending their title to become B2B champs in this league though so we’ll see.
