All good Bleek, just wanted to see why you thought it was a good spot or not a good spot for the Sparks. The Fever may show up tomorrow because the line is pretty much the same line as what the Liberty and Sun were given and IMO the Fever are match better teams than the Liberty and Sun.

CONN@SEA: the last two times Seattle was held to <~60 pts they scored in the 80s the next game. This time is a bit more complicated since Stricklen is probably out (7 points on average) and we get an early start. Conn is becoming desperate and I think they will play with some energy tomorrow. Still, I like Sea -4 and over. I think the zig-zag theory for the over will work and this is a winnable game for both teams so I think the scoring will not die. An Aarly summer game means lots of kids in the building so that might help too. Conn also has piss-poor interior D, and if Langhorne plays as well as she can, I think she can drop 20+ pts tomorrow and then there is Little (funny name for such a big girl). Douglas hopefully will start hitting her shots again, after that pathetic showing vs the Sparks.

Then we get two ESPN games. LAS@Indy. I think this is LAS or nothing, they way the Sparks have been playing lately, and given their depth, they should have energy for this game tomorrow. The Fever might also have a major problem if January cannot play. Also, liking 1H over: both teams really prefer 1Hs.

WSH@PHX. Hmm. Again, WSH has been scoring well in the 1Hs lately. Their backup PG has been good too. So even though PHX might start slow again, and they have size at every position to disrupt Mystics offense, I really like over 1H and maybe WSH 1H ATS. If PHX covers 1H ATS, I do not think WSH can come back in the 2H.

Bah, this is noon not 11am after all. Like I said think about the poor kids, they love Doppler. Plus, Seattle tends to push the pace more when they play crappier teams. In any case, I am not expecting a snooze fest: both teams need this win and both teams are coming off bad losses. If you like under, you might want to take under 1q/1h. In fact, I am also thinking about under 1q.

Thanks, we'll see how it goes Aussie. I cannot say I really like any of my leans, except maybe over 1Hs in the two ESPN games (more for the later game too). Indy do plan to concentrate on D tomorrow, but with the Sparks pushing the pace that might be a bit of wishful thinking for them. Indy also have like only six decent players in their rotation and if January is out, Clarendon will have to start and she is such a spazz; they have another young PG but she is a dainty girl who has issues dribbling the ball. In short, if the Sparks do not have a major letdown tomorrow or if January does not come back at full strength and Indy plays as good as they can, this is the Spark's game to take.

Axion, great input on the noon game. I would play the under but it's set so low, 146 give or take. Playing the over is shakey too if both teams come out like that Seattle Minnesota first half from Sunday. And I know Connecticut doesn't have the horses like minny so if those two score 63 in first half, then you fudged.

So Phoenix will keep winning til then. I think their might be a letdown from them between that time. I just don't know when. Shock did beat them

Bah, 63 in 1H, means only 83 in the 2h. But I do not think the Storm will come out slowly tomorrow and then the Lil' Sis should be balling tomorrow.

Fever has not looked impressive even with their win vs Sun recently.  The oddsmakers making Sparks a 2 point fav on the road during their long road trip suggest that they know Sparks are hot right now.  If you look at how they been doing on their roady so far, they have had an opportunity be at a 5 game win streak.  Their two recent losses were against an on fire Mercury team and hot Lynx team, both of which they played well enough to win.  Now that they are playing lesser competition and will be on national TV, Candice Parker and go will show a not as talented Indy team whats up.

So favs has been catching up before the all-star break?

I'll wait and see if badlands has a take on these games with respect to OU. He is usually pretty sharp in these situations. Sometimes a low total can really bit you in the ass if they come out firing and if they put up 38 to 40 in q1 then all they need is 34 points in q2 to make you sweat it out.
