Digging into Open Championship odds

Shane Lowry will enter the weekend with a 2-shot lead after a second-round 69 and his board-topping odds are a clear reflection of that. He’s listed at +200, with Scheffler running second at +330 after a second straight 1-under round on Friday. The two-time Masters champ is sitting T4 and five shots back heading into the weekend.

Justin Rose is up to third on the board at +650 following a stellar 3-under 69 in Round 2. Xander Schauffele (+900) and Patrick Cantlay (+1,800) round out the Top 5, both sitting T7 and six shots back after Round 2. Daniel Brown is the only other notable; he’s T2 at the moment and is sixth on the board at 22/1.
