Defending champion Jon Rahm heads to Augusta National Golf Course for the 2024 Masters without a win since donning the Green Jacket a year ago.
Here’s our analysis of his Masters odds to become the first back-to-back winner since Tiger Woods pulled off the feat in 2001 and 2002.

Why Jon Rahm will win the 2024 Masters
There are no statistical weaknesses in the 29-year-old Spaniard’s game and Rahm’s current form and track record at Augusta National are only rivaled by World No. 1 and betting favorite Scottie Scheffler. The fact Rahm has consistently contended without winning is a bit surprising and the big question is not if he’ll win another major, but when.
Finally, he’s equally capable of building and holding onto a lead or surging up the Sunday leaderboard to win — something that can’t be said for many in this field.
Why Jon Rahm won't win the 2024 Masters
Don’t buy into the narratives that there hasn’t been a back-to-back winner in 21 years, or that Rahm playing on the LIV Golf circuit leaves him at a competitive disadvantage. Instead, trust his odds to win because he has the third-shortest number for a reason.
With that said, there’s more on Rahm’s plate ahead of this year’s Masters, and beating a field of world-class players at a demanding track in consecutive years is difficult. I expect him to play well and be in contention on Sunday, but contending and winning are completely different animals, and his game just isn’t tight enough to stick at the top of the food chain again in 2024.
Jon Rahm best bet for the 2024 Masters
With a Top-10 finish in five of his past six trips to Augusta National and the noted eight consecutive Top 10s ahead of the 2024 Masters, this is a fair price to back Rahm in the Top-20 market.
It’s far from exciting, but adding 54 cents on the dollar serves as a complement to outright tickets in a Masters betting portfolio.
