It’s my favorite week of the year as the golf world descends upon Augusta National for the Masters Tournament. It also means all eyes are on the Masters odds, and betting action will come fast and furious over the next couple of days.

So, with that in mind, here are my Masters predictions to bring you a pick you need to make right now before the odds start acting like it’s Moving Day.

Will Zalatoris Top 10 (+320 at DraftKings)

What? Masters betting content not focused on Rory McIlroy? No way! I considered writing this about Rory to win outright when I saw that my awesome golf expert co-worker Neil Parker had already written about it.

Instead, I'm turning my attention to another extremely talented ball striker that's had some success at Augusta National but is still searching for his first Green Jacket. That man is Will Zalatoris.

Big Willy Z is flying a little under the radar heading into this year’s Masters. That’s likely because his 2025 season has been unspectacular to this point. He doesn’t have a Top 10 finish yet this season, but he has three Top 25s, and you can always see that potential on the verge of busting out. He also hasn’t missed a cut, and his game has looked solid.

He enters this week ranked 20th on Tour in strokes gained approach, 19th in greens in regulation, 45th in birdie-or-better percentage, and 35th in bogey avoidance.  He’s getting the ball on the green efficiently while avoiding costly mistakes, which is essential at Augusta. If he can get the putter going, it won’t be shocking to see him high on the leaderboard come Sunday.

Then there's the thing that's seemingly needed for success at the Masters: previous success at Augusta National. That’s something he has in spades. He has three Top-10 finishes in three starts at Augusta, including a runner-up in 2021 where he finished just one stroke behind champion Hideki Matsuyama and a ninth-place finish last year.

Zalatoris has a game built for this track, and he seems to always elevate his game on the biggest stages. I like him to have another strong performance here in 2025.

I've already seen this number move from +400 to the current +320 price, and I'm even seeing it as short as +290 at some sportsbooks, so another move could happen as soon as people remember how well Zalatoris handles this course. Jump on this number while you still can.

Pick: Will Zalatoris Top 10 (+320 at DraftKings)

When his dreams of becoming the next Steve Nash died, all Andrew “Taco” Caley wanted to do was write about sports, something he’s been doing at Covers for more than a decade. A Journalism School grad from Holland College in Charlottetown, PEI, Andrew previously worked at The Chronicle Herald and Star Metro, but knew in his heart that his future lay in sports. He began at Covers as a news editor and has now done everything under the sun when it comes to content. His work has been seen on TSN, Sportsnet, VSiN, and CBS.

These days Andrew’s betting expertise is focused on his favorite teams – the Toronto Blue Jays and Toronto Raptors. He’s also an avid college football fan and bettor. He can’t be friends with you if you don’t appreciate a Service Academy Under. You can also call him Covers’ Sixth Man, as he regularly steps up to guest host Before You Bet and our MLB and NCAAF release shows.

The sportsbook where he does the bulk of his betting is bet365 thanks to its numerous prop betting options and competitive odds. His best advice? Find the balance between the numbers and what you see on the playing field. Then find the best price using multiple books. And don’t ask him where the nickname Taco comes from. It’s not an interesting story. Seriously.
