After shooting a 67 in Round 1, Scheffler sat third on the golf odds board, listed at +650 at bet365. After being released, Scottie returned to Valhalla, went through a quick warm-up, and teed off at 10:08 a.m. ET. His odds have shifted to +475 in that short time.
He's currently third on the board as Round 2 action gets underway, with World No. 2 Rory McIlroy sitting second after firing a 5-under 66 on Thursday and Schauffele topping the board at +250 after a 9-under 62.
Defending champion Brooks Koepka sits fourth at 12/1 after a solid round of 67 on Thursday.
