Pennsylvania’s newest iGaming operator is getting off to a good start.
bet365 announced a deal on Wednesday with online casino provider White Hat Studios to offer customers more than 400 virtual slot games.
The online sportsbook and iGaming company launched in the Keystone State on Monday and has already rolled out popular White Hat titles like Peaky Blinders, Wolf Legend Megaways, and Bankin' Bacon.
“We are thrilled to be welcoming White Hat Studios onto the bet365 platform across Pennsylvania,” bet365 said in a press release. “Supplying our players with the most entertaining sportsbook and online casino offering is integral to our continued long-term growth strategy in the US and partnering with the house of brands provider will help us succeed in accomplishing these goals.”
The online casino provider also gives bet365 customers a selection of table games, live dealers, and the Jackpot Royale progressive mechanic that has gained popularity in other U.S. iGaming markets.
Key state
bet365 joined a competitive field by entering its 11th U.S. market this week. The gaming operator held a soft launch last week before receiving final approval from the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board to operate in full through its partnership with the Churchill Downs Incorporated-owned Presque Isle Downs and Casino.
The Keystone State represents a competitive market, but it's also one of just seven U.S. states to offer legal online casinos and produced revenue of over $170 million in May for the fourth consecutive month.
“We’re excited to partner with bet365 and integrate our award-winning range of games into their online casino offering in Pennsylvania,” said Daniel Lechner, White Hat’s VP of sales & marketing. “The operator’s prominent market position makes it a key player in the U.S. market, and we are confident that bet365’s impressive customer base will enjoy the immersive and innovative qualities of our portfolio.”
Building a portfolio
White Hat was created in 2021 through an acquisition of Blueprint Gaming, a major European iGaming provider, and studios under that umbrella.
White Hat is already established in Pennsylvania through partnerships with noted online casino operators FanDuel, BetMGM, and Caesars, among others. It began offering its games through betPARX to Keystone State customers earlier this month.
The online casino provider has partnerships with operators in all seven legal U.S. iGaming markets, including Michigan, New Jersey, and Connecticut.
