The progressive jackpot at BetMGM in New Jersey is the largest in the operator’s history.

“The Big One” consists of exclusive in-house games by Entain, with 19 slot titles including Bison Fury, MGM Grand Millions, Loot’en Khamun: The Dead Sea Scrolls, and more that offer players the chance to win the $4 million progressive jackpot which grows each time a game is played but the jackpot is not won.

Players can win the progressive jackpot by playing online in New Jersey at BetMGM, Borgata, Wheel of Fortune Casino and Party Casino.

“Every day, we aim to give the best iGaming experience to our players with an ever-growing selection of best in-class games, exclusive titles and the opportunity to win big jackpots,” said Matt Prevost, BetMGM’s chief revenue officer.

BetMGM awarded more than $138 million in jackpots in 2023, a 32% year-over-year increase from 2022. BetMGM was also named Casino Operator of the Year by SBC North America, EGR North America, Global Gaming Awards, and American Gambling Awards last year.

Prevost pointed to the excitement around the progressive jackpot milestone, saying that “a growing, record-breaking jackpot that can be won at any minute is exhilarating” and that “BetMGM is anticipating the momentous occasion in our history when we can award the biggest jackpot ever.”

Garden State gamblers have been quite active so far in the new year.

New Jersey sports betting posted a $1.7 billion handle and $170.8 million in revenue for January, both all-time highs. The Garden State trails only the New York sports betting market for the highest year-to-date handle in the country.

MGM Resorts also reported a profitable second half of 2023 for BetMGM in its Q4 earnings call last month.
