BetMGM and the Philadelphia 76ers are renewing their partnership and adding to the fan and legal sports betting experience.
The two sides announced the agreement Thursday that keeps the online sports betting operator as the “official sports betting partner” of the NBA franchise.
The multi-year extension of the “strategic partnership” gives customers living in Pennsylvania and New Jersey a 50% live odds boost token during Sixers games.
BetMGM will also receive more exposure inside the Wells Fargo Center during games as well as sponsor watch parties for fans.
“This extension allows us to further enhance the gameday experience for fans, in the arena and at home," said Matt Prevost, chief revenue officer of BetMGM. "We look forward to continuing our rewarding relationship with the 76ers this season and beyond."
Visual enhancements
Fans will see a lot more of BetMGM at Philadelphia games this season. The new partnership provides additional signage courtside at the arena as well as in the grandstand, on the video board, and on the social media and email platforms of the 76ers.
"We're joining forces again with BetMGM to promote another opportunity for fans to embrace competition, just in time for the new season,” 76ers chief revenue officer Katie O’Reilly. “We are thrilled to build on our continued success here in the Philadelphia market and offer our unique experiences for BetMGM customers and 76ers fans alike.”
Home away from home
The Borgata Hotel Casino, which holds a retail BetMGM sportsbook, will serve as the “official away game host” and hold VIP watch parties featuring giveaways and former Philadelphia players.
“It will be great to welcome 76ers fans back to our BetMGM Sports Lounge this season,” Borgata president Travis Lunn said. “We’re committed to offering guests an entertaining and responsible gaming experience.”
