The start of the NFL season is always exciting for fans, but this year it will be more complex than ever to catch every game with at least five different streaming services on top of local cable networks fracturing the viewing experience as we know it.
FanDuel is hoping to make things easier by today announcing a partnership with YouTube to offer a three-week free trial of NFL Sunday Ticket from YouTube and YouTube TV to all of its customers - new or returning.
All it takes is a $5 bet, which unlocks access to every out-of-market Sunday afternoon game, or bundling with YouTube TB to enjoy local and national games on 100-plus live channels.
“Football season is an exhilarating time for fans, and we are committed to delivering an unparalleled sports betting experience all season long,” said Mike Raffensperger, president of sports at FanDuel.
“As we continue to raise the bar with new product features that allow fans to engage with the NFL in new ways, we’re also thrilled to again partner with YouTube to offer an NFL Sunday Ticket free trial to our customers, providing an NFL betting experience only available with FanDuel.”
New customers can also get $200 in bonus bets on their first $5 wager.
FanDuel and YouTube offered a similar promotion before the 2023 NFL season, only the $5 bet triggered a $100 discount off NFL Sunday Ticket instead of the three-week free trial.
New product features
FanDuel also announced a slew of product enhancements in tandem with the NFL Sunday Ticket promo.
Parlays are a fan favorite for both customers and sportsbooks alike, since they often come with the most sweat for the customers and most profit for the operators. FanDuel is giving its patrons the ability to add even more bets to their Same Game Parlay for this NFL season, like player quarter props, defensive props, player to catch a pass, and more.
Live betting will get even easier with a redesigned Quick Bets tab which will have a simpler and faster way to place short duration bets like the result of the current drive.
New player pages will help fans find their favorite players to bet on, offering performance trends on each player and the ability to easily place prop bets all in one place.
