Coming off a successful 2022-23 NBA season, legal sports betting technology provider Simplebet is ready to bring more microbetting innovations to a new campaign.
Through partnerships with some of the most recognizable sportsbooks in the U.S., Simplebet is offering customers a new way to get in on the in-game action with the “First Field Goal Scorer Exact” market.
The latest offering allows bettors to choose from the starting lineups of each team in a game and pick who will score the first basket and whether it will be a two-point basket or three-pointer.
Simplebet also has the “Team First Field Goal Scorer Exact” that gives bettors a similar option to pick a player to score for a particular team with various odds on each player.
Other markets include the “First 3-Point Scorer” and “Team First 3-Point Scorer” as well.
Simplebet’s growth
Simplebet continues to be an innovator in the growing online sports betting industry of microbetting. The technology company released the "Same Drive Parlay" to help fuel NFL markets earlier this year.
These are expansions to microbetting options that helped generate $47 million in handle from Simplebet’s partnered operators. Simplebet enjoyed a 350% year-over-year growth last NBA season and five times the bet count compared to the previous year.
Simplebet is helping lead that charge as it offered markets in 90 NBA postseason games last season.
“Last year, Simplebet was able to showcase how micro-betting could flourish for a free-flowing sport such as basketball,” Simplebet CEO Chris Bevilacqua said in a statement. “We’re incredibly proud of the growth of our NBA product and look forward to continuing to innovate and improve our NBA product as the season moves along, providing contextually relevant options for fans and bettors to interact with the NBA in new ways.”
Simplebet’s partnerships
Simplebet creates microbetting markets for MLB, NFL, college football, college basketball, and LIV Golf.
Simplebet recently signed a deal with Clutchbet to add to its portfolio of partnerships that include sportsbook operators DraftKings, Caesars, Hard Rock, and bet365. The technology provider also provides media and technology companies with a real-time automated operations platform.
