MGM Resorts has announced that its luxury Nevada resort The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas is now officially part of MGM Rewards.
The loyalty scheme rewards customers for money spent at MGM casinos and resorts, providing dozens of benefits to its members.
Frequent customers and top spenders are awarded Tier Status, which ranges from an entry-level Sapphire to the top Noir membership. Players who reach the top level gain access to more exclusive perks, like complimentary transportation.
Sapphire members are guaranteed the lowest room rates and get discounts on tickets to select shows, while Noir members can receive a $500 tier status dining credit and up to $1,200 to spend on air travel on qualification.
The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas has been added to the program to improve the company’s existing loyalty experience. Customers can now move seamlessly through MGM resorts and casinos in Las Vegas and nationwide, accumulating MGM rewards points as they do so.
Identity Points will become MGM Rewards
The Cosmopolitan's previous rewards program, Identity Points, will be rolled into MGM Rewards. Customers with outstanding Identity points will be issued the equivalent number of MGM Rewards Points and 'SLOT DOLLARS' in their place.
Existing Identity members will also qualify for freeplay offers, discounts on hotel rooms, and other promotions. Balances are set to be updated automatically and MGM Rewards Points will be available to spend immediately.
"This marks an important milestone for The Cosmopolitan as we become fully integrated into MGM Rewards, introducing our resort amenities to a broad new audience while offering our loyal guests unparalleled access to iconic destinations across Las Vegas,” said Sean Lanni, president and COO of The Cosmopolitan.
"We're looking forward to welcoming MGM Rewards members from our Las Vegas and regional markets who now have the ability to earn and redeem at The Cosmopolitan as they enjoy the resort's exceptional accommodations, dining, entertainment, slots and table games."
Competitive perks for top MGM customers
MGM Rewards is one of the most competitive rewards programs available to players on the Las Vegas Strip. There are now 20 different MGM Resorts properties included in the program, along with 400 restaurants and bars. Many of the company’s entertainment offerings can also be used to accumulate and spend MGM Rewards Points.
Tier Status members can now access a range of perks at The Cosmopolitan, including priority access for events, waived resort fees, credits to use towards the cost of air travel, cruise offers, and dining credits.
