World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) and the sportsbook operator Fanatics have partnered once more to launch WWE’s latest podcast, ‘The Raw Recap Show’ hosted by Megan Morant and Sam Roberts, who had previously hosted shows ‘The Bump’ and ‘SmackDown LowDown.’

Fanatics has been WWE’s exclusive global e-commerce partner since 2022 and has a long-term partnership handling operations such as WWE’s global event merchandise business.

The two brands have also partnered for events, such as last year’s ‘WWE World’ in connection with WrestleMania XL and the recently announced five-day interactive fan experience in Las Vegas later this year, as part of WrestleMania 41.

According to the newly announced podcast deal, Fanatics will also be the primary partner of WWE’s podcasts, having placements within the podcasts starting with ‘The Raw Recap Show.’ In return, WWE will have access to various Fanatics events and its network of athletes.

Morant and Roberts, long-time co-hosts on WWE talkback shows, will appear together on ‘The Raw Recap Show’ to react to ‘Monday Night Raw.’ New episodes will be released weekly. They will also host an instant-reaction podcast that follows all Premium Live Events. The first episode of this is set to air after WrestleMania 41.

New episodes of ‘The Raw Recap Show’ and the instant-reaction podcast will be available on all podcast platforms and WWE’s YouTube channel. Further podcasts hosted by WWE’s ‘Superstars and Legends’ are expected to be announced in the near future.

WWE Superstars Join Dimension 20’s GM in Titan Takedown Show

In other news, four of WWE’s superstars - Bayley, Chelsea Green, Xavier Woods, and Kofi Kingston - will enter the world of imaginative RPG for a five-part game with Dimension 20’s game master Brennan Lee Mulligan.

The game is set in ancient Athens, where four wrestlers compete in the Titan Takedown, a fantastical wrestling event with a historical twist. ‘Dimension 20: Titan Takedown’ premiers on Dropout exclusively on April 2, with episodes releasing every Wednesday for four weeks.

As sport-related podcasts rise in popularity among Americans, the U.S. fantasy sports and media group Underdog Fantasy also announced that it had extended the contracts of the Gil’s Arena cast, a popular basketball podcast hosted by NBA legend Gilbert Arenas.

Fanatics adheres to Fair Play rule during NBA season

Due to Fanatics’ Fair Play rule, the sportsbook has recently paid out all straight bets and parlays involving San Antonio Spurs star Victor Wembanyama to win the Defensive Player of the Year award. This was due to Wembanyama being removed from the NBA season after a blood clot was discovered in his right shoulder.

Before Webanyama left the season, he was listed on Fanatics Sportsbook at -2500 odds to win the Defensive Player of the Year award, a fantastic feat compared to runner-up candidates, such as Jaren Jackson Jr. and Evan Mobley, who had odds of winning at +3000.
