It’s a jam-packed day of action on the diamond as all 30 MLB teams are in action. That means no shortage of options when it comes to player props.

Today, we look to take advantage of a Marlins lineup that really does resemble bottom feeders by targeting an Aaron Nola prop. Then, we focus on a pair of total bases props for a couple of the hottest hitters in baseball in Bo Bichette and Mike Trout.

Check out our best MLB player prop bets for Tuesday, September 6.

Nola annihilates Marlins

If you haven’t been paying attention, the Miami Marlins offense has earned its "Bottom Feeders" moniker in the second half of the season. And we’re going to take advantage of that by backing an Aaron Nola prop when the Marlins take on the Philadelphia Phillies tonight.

The Marlins have scored an unfathomably low 100 runs over their 42 games in the second half, which is just 2.38 runs per game and 27 runs fewer than the team in 29th place, the Pittsburgh Pirates.

On top of that, the Marlins rank dead last in batting average (.206), OPS (.587), and wRC+ (69) in that time.

Nola is arguably coming off his worst start of the season, getting rocked for eight runs on 10 hits over four innings against the Arizona Diamondbacks. Despite this, Nola has been outstanding this season, pitching to a 2.70 expected ERA and limiting opponents to a .211 expected batting average.

The right-hander has also dominated the Fish this year, allowing just two earned runs on 10 hits while striking out 16 over 15 1-3 innings of work over two starts.

Nola’s success has made him one of the best innings eaters in baseball, averaging 6.56 innings per start. He's eclipsed 19.5 outs recorded in 10 of his last 15 starts, and in each of his two starts against the Marlins. Bet on Nola to work deep into another ball game tonight.

Just Bo with the flow

When Toronto Blue Jays shortstop Bo Bichette goes on a heater, he goes on a real heater. And that’s what’s happening right now.

Bichette has racked up a crazy 12 hits over his last five games, which includes a three home-run game (the first of his career) against the Baltimore Orioles in Game 2 of Monday’s doubleheader, and is hitting .546 with a 1.747 OPS over those games.

It has been encouraging to see Bichette’s approach at the plate over this stretch after what has been a bit of an inconsistent year. He has done a better job of keeping his head still and letting the ball come to his bat. Several of his hits recently have been to the opposite field.

Bichette will have a great chance to stay smoking hot as the Jays go for the series win on Tuesday.

That’s because Bichette matches up well against Baltimore rookie Kyle Bradish. The 25-year-old right-hander has been very good in the second half of the season, pitching to a 2.66 ERA. But his 3.78 FIP over that stretch suggests he's been at least a little lucky.

And if there is a team that regression could come against, it's the Blue Jays. Five regulars have a .400 batting average or better against Bradish, including, you guessed it, Bichette. The Jays’ shortstop is 3-for-7 with a home run in his career vs. Bradish.

Take the value with Bichette to go Over 1.5 total bases for the 11th time in his last 16 games.

Bo Bichette Prop: Over 1.5 total bases (+110)

Don't doubt Trout

Mike Trout cashed for us yesterday with his total bases prop and we’re going back to that well when the Los Angeles Angels continue their series against the Detroit Tigers tonight.

Trout is in another one of his patented grooves, which continued with him going 3-for-4 with a dinger on Monday night. The former MVP has now recorded a hit in 11 of his last 14 games, hitting .327 with a 1.074 OPS and five homers over that stretch. So, you know, normal Mike Trout stuff.

Tonight, he’ll dig in against Tigers starter Eduardo Rodriguez. The left-hander owns a 4.44 expected ERA while giving up a .246 expected batting average to opponents. And though the Angels in general struggled against lefties, don’t lump Trout in with them. Trout owns a .337 average and 1.080 OPS when facing southpaws this season.

Bet on Trout to go back-to-back for us and have another solid day at the dish. Take him to go Over 1.5 total bases for the 10th time over his last 15 games at plus money.

Mike Trout Prop: Over 1.5 total bases (+115)

It’s not an interesting story. Seriously.
