My best bet: Quentin Grimes Over 20.5 points (-115 at bet365)
My analysis
The Philadelphia 76ers acquired Quentin Grimes via trade in early February from the Dallas Mavericks, and little did they know he’d emerge as one of their best players. The former University of Houston standout is averaging 19.9 points with Philly in 16 games, making 13 starts.
Grimes has mostly been a bench piece throughout his NBA career, but he’s flourishing with the opportunity to be in the starting five. The guard has cashed the Over in four straight outings and six of his last nine.
The 24-year-old has dropped 28, 29, 35, and 25 points across the last four games and has consistently played around 30 minutes per night. While the 76ers are still losing a lot, Grimes is evidently doing his part.
In March, he's averaging an insane 26.4 points in eight appearances. Yes, he’s only scored 9 ppg against the Houston Rockets this season, but that was during his time with the Mavs where Grimes was a guy coming off the bench.
He’ll thrive again tonight, even against a solid Houston defense. It’s also a homecoming for Grimes, which adds fuel to the fire.

Jalen Green is a massive reason the Rockets are one of the top squads in the Association. He’s averaging a team-best 21.3 ppg while shooting 35.9% from 3-point land. Green has hit the Over in points in three consecutive appearances, pouring in 28, 23, and 29.
It’s common knowledge the 76ers are terrible, and Green managed to destroy them back in November, erupting for 41 points. Philly also allows 22.3 points per contest to shooting guards and Green is feeling it right now. He’ll keep it rolling.
The moneyline is at a steep -1200 for Houston this evening, which doesn’t offer any value on its own. But, in this SGP, it’s worth a look. The Rockets have won six in a row and have an impressive 25-10 record at home. Philadelphia, meanwhile, is 3-7 in its last 10 and has gone 11-22 on the road.
Joel Embiid is out for the season, and the Sixers look lost on a nightly basis. Houston is red-hot, and I simply do not see it losing on home court to such an inconsistent team.
