After dropping their home opener, the Houston Rockets rattled off an 11 game win streak at home that helped keep their heads above .500. But ever since December 20, Houston has dropped five of their last eight home games, including Friday night's 122-95 loss to the Timberwolves.

On Saturday, they will host Giannis Antetokounmpo, Damian Lillard, and the rest of the Milwaukee Bucks, who after a shaky 5-4 start to the season, have since gone 20-6. Giannis' efforts, amidst what is seemingly a season full of MVP-caliber starts, has not gone unnoticed.

The Greek Freak leads all players in All Star votes and is fresh off of a 44 point performance on Thursday night. The two-time MVP's play has come at an incredible time, with the Bucks going through some growing pains with first-time head coach Adrian Griffin, and with Damian Lillard taking a bit longer than anticipated to get acclimated into the Bucks' offense.

However, Saturday night may prove to be a challenge for Antetokounmpo, who has notably struggled against Ime Udoka-coached teams. In his last six games against Udoka, Giannis has managed just one 30+ point performance and averaged just 23.5 points, which is well short of the 30.1 points he has averaged as a whole since the first game of that stretch.

Putting together the above insight, we want to start by taking the Under on Giannis' points. As mentioned previously, Udoka has had success limiting Giannis' scoring output in the past, but Giannis may also come in with deader legs after putting up 28 shots on Thursday night.

Khris Middleton, who without announcement was limited to a single half of play for Thursday's game, may inversely be given more of a green light as a result. If we ignore the resulting 12 point performance from Thursday, Middleton has managed to score above his 16.5 point total for Saturday in seven of his previous nine games.

Bucks vs Rockets spread and Over/Under analysis

Despite their stellar win-loss record, the Bucks are 15-19-1 against the spread this season, and their 44.1% cover rate ranks eighth-worst in the league. They've fared better on the road, however, having split those games at 8-8.

Meanwhile, Houston has played to a 19-12-2 record ATS, good for a 61.3% cover rate that ranks fourth-best this year. 

Milwaukee has played to a 22-13 record favoring the Over, which is tied for the third-highest rate of Overs this year. They’ve also gone 10-6 to the Over on the road, which is still good for the fifth-highest rate in that split.

Conversely the Rockets have played to a 18-14-1 record to the Under this year, which is good for a fourth-highest rate of 56.3% that way this season. They have, however, played to the Over in four of their last five.
