The Chicago Bulls' quick three-game West Coast swing continues at Vivint Arena against the Utah Jazz after a 112-103 loss to the Kings Monday night.

DeMar DeRozan & Co. have dropped six of eight but still sits in fourth amongst the Eastern Conference logjam. Utah, also fourth in its conference, has dropped four of seven, and has quickly found the Dallas Mavericks and Denver Nuggets hot on their tails in the West.

Can Utah get right at home or will the Bulls shock the Jazz as 6-point road pups? Read our NBA betting picks and predictions for Bulls vs. Jazz to find out.

Bulls vs Jazz picks and predictions

Our side and total predictions are based upon our analysis of the line and total in this game. Our best bet is our favorite pick across all markets.

Spread analysis

Both teams enter tonight's contest playing far from their best ball. The Bulls have lost six of eight (1-7 ATS) and are fresh off an uber-disappointing 112-103 defeat to the Kings on Monday night, living up to their name of one of the NBA's streakiest teams.

The Jazz are also in a rut of their own, having lost four of seven (1-6 ATS), including some extra-forgettable ones to San Antonio and New Orleans.

While the defense has remained relatively steady for these crews, it's been the offense that's plagued both teams in recent weeks. Utah, which leads the NBA in offensive rating on the season, ranks just 15th across this recent seven-game stretch. Chicago, which ranks seventh on the year, is 25th over its last eight.

Chicago's struggles against the NBA's best teams this season have been well documented, and while it took down the Jazz at home back in October, this is a much different set of circumstances. The Bulls are just 16-17 straight up away from United Center this season and have failed to cover the spread in five straight road contests.

And while Utah's home against the spread record is nothing to brag about either (14-19-2), it routinely faces larger spreads because of how strong it's been inside Vivint Arena, which often gives teams issues with the altitude and a roaring, sometimes headline-searching, home crowd.

The Jazz will be without a scorching-hot Bojan Bogdanovic (27.3 ppg over his last four games) due to a left calf strain but last year's Sixth Man of the Year winner Jordan Clarkson has more than proven he can fill the scoring void. He's just two games removed from a 45-point outburst against the Kings on 15-21 shooting.

This should be a fun matchup with a ton of star-power, but all things considered, it's a tricky spot for the Bulls that may be too much to overcome in Utah's gym.

The 6-point number is actually on the conservative end of spreads the Jazz sees at home. I'll lay it against a team that's reeling on the road.

Prediction: Jazz -6 (-110)

Over/Under analysis

This Under section will very much write itself. Neither of these teams is playing well offensively, full stop.

We've already talked about the drastic drop-off in offensive rating but on the other end, both teams have remained solid on defense.

The Bulls will have Alex Caruso — one of the league's smartest perimeter defenders — on the floor for the third straight game since returning from injury and the Jazz will be without a red-hot Bogdanovic, as mentioned earlier. While Utah should still have an edge offensively, especially at home, it could be more limited than usual tonight.

The Under is 8-1 in Chicago's last nine games and 6-1 in Utah's last seven — an 87.5% clip over those 16 games. Back it again tonight.

Prediction: Under 224 (-110)

Best bet

While I like the Jazz in this spot, they can be a little finicky against the spread at home, especially when you take away a lethal scoring option like Bogdanovic, so we're rolling with the Under as the best bet.

While this 224-point total falls on the lower end for Chicago, it's pretty much an average mark for what Utah has seen during this Under streak. Don't let it scare you.

Pick: Under 224.5 (-110)
