DraftKings NBA Pick6 fantasy basketball lineup for April 5

Bucks Giannis Antetokounmpo 28.5 Points: MORE

The Milwaukee Bucks are without Damian Lillard right now, which means it’s strictly on Giannis Antetokounmpo to carry most of the offensive load. He’s doing a nice job in doing so, scoring more than 28.5 points in five straight games. In fact, he’s posted 30+ in every appearance during that span.

While he’s averaging just 24 ppg against tonight’s opponent, the Miami Heat, the Greek Freak is red hot at the moment, and I do believe he’ll continue to play at a high level with his co-star sidelined.

Timberwolves Anthony Edwards 26.5 Points: MORE

Anthony Edwards is the driving force behind the Minnesota Timberwolves’ playoff push, averaging a career-best 27.3 points in 2024-25. Ant is coming off back-to-back games where he dominated, registering 34 and 28 points. He’s averaging 28.5 points on the road compared to 26.1 at home and the Wolves visit the lowly Philadelphia 76ers tonight.

Although Ant only scored 18 against them earlier in the campaign, the Sixers are depleted and Edwards is on a roll. With the playoff race heating up, Minnesota’s franchise superstar will rise to the occasion once again.

76ers Quentin Grimes 22.5 Points: MORE

Over to Philly. While it was an under-the-radar trade at the time, the 76ers acquiring Quentin Grimes from the Dallas Mavericks was a game-changer. He’s been playing out of his mind with a bigger role. With Paul George, Tyrese Maxey, and Joel Embiid all injured, Grimes is the main man in the City of Brotherly Love.

The University of Houston product is averaging 22.1 points since the trade and has put up more than 22.5 points in three of his last five outings. Grimes just scored 24 a couple of nights ago against the Bucks.

Grizzlies Ja Morant 6.5 Assists: LESS

Ja Morant has always been a solid playmaker. After all, he’s averaging 7.3 dimes per night, which leads the Memphis Grizzlies. However, he’s dished out less than 6.5 assists in three of his last five appearances, finishing with just three dimes on Thursday against the Miami Heat.

Morant hasn’t faced the Detroit Pistons yet this season but they’re fifth in the league in fewest assists allowed. Detroit is also considered a difficult opponent for point guards, allowing only 7.2 assists per contest to the position.

Knicks Mikal Bridges 1.5 Threes: LESS

Mikal Bridges is shooting a respectable 35.1% from three-point land this season, averaging 2.1 makes on 5.8 attempts per game. That being said, he averaged only 1.5 makes in March and just failed to drain a single triple against the Cleveland Cavaliers earlier in the week.

The New York Knicks forward is averaging 1.3 makes from deep against the Atlanta Hawks, who the Knicks go to battle with tonight. I expect it to be another cold night for Bridges from beyond the arc.

Knicks Josh Hart 13.5 Points: MORE

Josh Hart has been a major piece for the Knicks in ‘24-25. In 73 games, all starts, he’s averaging 13.8 points, 9.5 rebounds, and 5.8 assists on 33% shooting from downtown. The Villanova product has scored more than 13.5 points twice in his last three appearances and there’s reason to believe that’ll continue tonight.

Hart is averaging 16.8 ppg against the Hawks this season across four meetings, and they’re no prize defensively. He also averaged 13.8 points on the road. Hart will make his presence felt in Atlanta.
