The Toronto Raptors have battled injuries and inconsistent play all season long and, as a result, they have dropped six of their last eight games heading into tonight's matchup against the Memphis Grizzlies.

Luckily, one of those wins came versus this same Grizz team last week, and that was with now-injured Ja Morant playing. But the Raps have been an abysmal bet at home this season, so can this ailment-riddled squad cover the chalk?

Find out in our free NBA picks and predictions for Grizzlies vs. Raptors on November 30.

Grizzlies vs Raptors picks and predictions

Our predictions are compiled from the analysis of the spread and total and are indications of where we are leaning for this game.
Our best bet is the play that we like the most for this game, which we would actually put some of our bankroll behind.

The Raptors enter this game losers of three of their last four games overall and seven of their last nine. They have struggled at both ends of the floor while OG Anunoby deals with a hip injury and it won’t help their cause if Gray Trent Jr. is unable to go in this matchup.

Unfortunately for the Grizzlies, they aren’t in a much better spot. While superstar point guard Ja Morant avoided a serious knee injury, he will be out for a couple of weeks to recover. That said, the Grizzlies were able to pull off an impressive victory against the Sacramento Kings without Morant.

In that game, the Grizz got big performances from Dillon Brooks, Jaren Jackson Jr., and Desmond Bane, and will need more of that unselfish style of play if they want to win their second game in a row.

The Raptors have been a tough team to back at home, going 1-9 straight up and against the spread at Scotiabank Arena this season. But this spread has been bet down low enough to give them another shot in this matchup.

Both teams are missing their best player, and both have been bad on defense, but the Raptors have a little more depth and ability to take advantage of the other’s weaknesses in this matchup, as evidenced by last week’s 126-113 win over this same Grizzlies team.

Keep an eye on Trent's status and if he is able to give it a go tonight, but the Raps look like a good bet in this spot.

Prediction: Raptors -3.5 (-110)

While the side for this matchup feels a little dicey, you can bet the total with much more confidence. The last meeting between these two teams saw a combined point total of 239, easily going Over the O/U the total of 218. And while the Grizzlies will be without Morant, there is good reason to believe these teams can get there again.

For starters, both teams have been atrocious on the defensive end of the floor, for the most part, this season. The Grizzlies rank dead last in the NBA in both defensive rating and scoring defense, surrendering 115.6 points per game.

Meanwhile, for basically the whole month of November, the only team with a worse defensive rating than the Grizzlies has been the Raptors. And over the Raps’ last 12 games, where they are just 3-9 SU, they have allowed opponents to shoot 48.3 percent from the floor. That ranks 28th in the league over that span.

In last week’s meeting, both teams shot over 50 percent, and the Grizz managed to put up 128 points against the Kings in their first full game without Morant. Bet on this one to be back-and-forth and eclipse the total.

Prediction: Over 216 (-110)

We’re going with a couple of best bets for this matchup, with the first being the Over of course. But we want to take advantage of Memphis’ biggest weakness as well: defending the perimeter. The Grizzlies rank dead last in the NBA in opposing 3-point percentage, allowing teams to hit nearly 40 percent of their attempts from beyond the arc.

Now, this would normally be a spot we would look at Trent, but with his status up in the air, we’ll look elsewhere. There is no value to Fred VanVleet in this spot, but there is in an unlikely target – Precious Achiuwa.

His made threes prop is set at 0.5 with the Over at +170. While Achiuwa only attempts a couple of threes a game, this value is too good to pass up, considering how he dominated this matchup last week.

Achiuwa had one of the best games of his career against the Grizzlies going 7-11 from the field, including 3-3 from 3-point range. And with Khem Birch not playing, you can expect plenty of minutes and opportunities for Achiuwa after going +28 in the game last week.

Pick: Over 216 (-110)
Pick: Precious Achiuwa Over 0.5 Made Threes (+170)
