My analysis
It’s hard to bet against Zach LaVine right now, so I won’t try it. I’ll take the Over on his combo prop as the Sacramento Kings' newest guard continues to shine. The Kings will be without Domantas Sabonis and Malik Monk yet again, and LaVine will need to be at his best to keep his team’s playoff hopes alive.
He's averaged 23.4 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 4.1 assists across 13 games since arriving in Sacramento. He failed to hit 33 PRA in any of his first four appearances, but he’s reached that milestone in five of his last nine. In those nine games, LaVine has averaged 25.6 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 4.4 assists.
Sabonis has missed three in a row, and Monk has also missed back-to-back games. Over his last three, LaVine has averaged 33.4 PRA, and he’s in a great spot to stay productive.
Over the last seven games, the Los Angeles Clippers have surrendered a whopping 28.9 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 9.9 assists to opposing point guards. With Monk out, Keon Ellis has been the nominal starting PG, but LaVine has seen a big bump in ball-handling and facilitating responsibilities.
Success against the Clippers isn’t a new thing for LaVine. He’s faced L.A. seven times across the last five seasons and averaged 39.7 PRA. In that span, LaVine hit the Over five times and finished with no fewer than 30 PRA in any matchup.
Increased opportunity and usage, a hot streak, and desperation to stay alive in the playoff race create a perfect storm for LaVine to have another big game.

The Kings have allowed 21.2 points and 15.2 points to opposing centers this season, and Zubac double-doubled in both previous matchups. I’ll confidently back him to do so again.
Since returning from the break, the Kings have allowed just 110.9 points per game (seventh fewest), and the Clippers have allowed 112.3 (10th fewest). In that span, the Clippers are 28th in pace and the Kings are 25th. Sacramento has cashed the Under in five of six overall, and the teams have hit the Under in five straight meetings. I expect a low-scoring affair in Inglewood.
