DraftKings NBA Pick6 fantasy basketball lineup for April 8

Thunder Shai Gilgeous-Alexander 31.5 points: MORE

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander continues to ball out in his pursuit of MVP. While he’s only scored more than 31.5 points in two of his last five games, the superstar is still averaging a league-best 32.6 ppg. He averaged 34.7 points in the month of March, and it feels like he’s due for a big performance after scoring just 22 and 26 points across his last two.

Plus, the OKC Thunder face the Los Angeles Lakers tonight, and SGA put up 31 against them earlier in the campaign. I expect the Canadian to bring his best with another signature outing. He’ll show out.

Suns Devin Booker 28.5 points: MORE

Devin Booker is cooking lately. The Phoenix Suns guard has dropped more than 28.5 points in three consecutive appearances, scoring 39, 37, and 40 points. He’s playing some of the best basketball of the season at the moment as the Suns push for the Play-In Tournament.

Booker and Phoenix will host the Golden State Warriors tonight, and he played well against them already this season, scoring 29 points. All signs point to Book keeping up the hot streak and balling out again on home court.

Clippers James Harden 23.5 points: LESS

James Harden may not be the same player he was 6-7 years ago, but he’s still a solid piece for the Los Angeles Clippers. However, he’s scored less than 23.5 points in three of his last five appearances. Harden is averaging 21 ppg in April so far in three contests as well.

He’s scoring 22.7 points per night at home, and the Clippers welcome the depleted San Antonio Spurs to town tonight. I’m not saying he won’t do his part, but I’ll ride the trends here with Harden’s scoring numbers.

Timberwolves Rudy Gobert 12.5 rebounds: MORE

I’ve included Rudy Gobert in my entries numerous times, but it’s usually for the opposite end of this play. He’s having the worst rebounding season in almost nine years. That being said, the big man is dominating on the glass as of late. He’s brought down more than 12.5 boards in four of his previous five games.

In fact, Gobert has 37 rebounds across his last two appearances. He is doing his thing inside, and although he’ll be up against Giannis Antetokounmpo tonight, Gobert did grab 14 rebounds earlier this season versus the Milwaukee Bucks.

Spurs Chris Paul 6.5 assists: MORE

CP3 is the only healthy star left on the Spurs’ roster as Victor Wembanyama and De’Aaron Fox are sidelined. Chris Paul has been a fantastic addition to this team, especially as a playmaker. He’s averaging 7.6 assists, which leads San Antonio. After all these years, Paul is still dropping dimes on a nightly basis.

The guard has dished out more than 6.5 assists in four consecutive contests and just had nine dimes the other night against the Portland Trail Blazers. CP3 also finished with seven assists the last time he faced the Clippers, his former team.

Grizzlies Desmond Bane 2.5 threes: MORE

Desmond Bane is one of the top 3-point shooters in the game, averaging 2.3 makes on 6.0 attempts for a 38.5% clip from deep. The guard has drained more than 2.5 triples in three of his last five appearances, and he’s not exactly playing the toughest opponent tonight in the Charlotte Hornets.

They’re allowing opponents to shoot 43% from beyond the arc across the last three games, and Bane had four made treys against Charlotte earlier in the campaign. He’ll find a rhythm from downtown here for the Memphis Grizzlies.
