After a jam-packed Wednesday, the Association has only one game on the slate for Thursday — a showdown between the Utah Jazz and the visiting Dallas Mavericks.

The Mavs have lost three in a row, but they’ll look to get back on track behind the hot hand of Kyrie Irving and the elite, long-range shooting of Klay Thompson. My favorite Mavericks vs Jazz props and NBA picks for this November 14 showdown also include Utah’s leading scorer, who’s in a favorable position to do some dirty work on the glass.

We've also got a full breakdown of Mavericks vs. Jazz predictions from analyst Rohit Ponnayia, so there's plenty of action despite the short slate.

Best Mavericks vs Jazz props for tonight

Picks made on 11-14.

Mavericks vs Jazz player props for November 14

Prop bet #1: John Collins Over 10.5 rebounds

-106 at bet365

This one feels like a no-brainer, and I’m hammering the Over here. John Collins is averaging just 7.7 rebounds per game for the Utah Jazz this season, but he’s pulled down double-digit boards in two straight, three of his last four, and four of his last six.

The big man has been slightly better at home (eight rebounds) than he’s been on the road (7.4), and he’ll be in a favorable position when the Dallas Mavericks visit Delta Center tonight. Dallas has allowed the third-most rebounds to opponents, making this an even more intriguing option.

Collins has come off the bench for most of the season, but he made his first start of the season Tuesday against Phoenix due to Walker Kessler’s absence. Kessler (who’s averaged a team-high 10.7 rebounds per game this season) will be out again tonight, presenting Collins a nice opportunity to clean the glass.

Collins logged a season-high 34 minutes against Phoenix, and he should see big minutes again tonight. All four of Collins’ double-digit rebound games have come when he’s logged 28 or more minutes, and he averaged 11 boards in those contests.

Prop bet #2: Klay Thompson Over 3.5 made 3-pointers

+120 at bet365

Klay Thompson has gotten off to a nice start with Dallas, averaging 3.2 triples per game on 37.2% shooting from beyond the arc. He’s in a great position to cash the Over on this prop with a favorable road matchup against Utah.

Thompson was hot in his last game out, nailing six triples in his return to the Bay as Dallas fell to the Golden State Warriors. Thompson has knocked down at least four 3-pointers in five of 11 games this season.

Klay is averaging 3.5 triples on 37.8% shooting on the road compared to just three per game on 36.8% shooting at home. The Jazz allow the fourth-most triples and sixth-highest 3-point percentage to opponents, and Thompson hit four treys against Utah in his first meeting this season.

Prop bet #3: Kyrie Irving Over 24.5 points

-115 at bet365

Kyrie Irving is averaging 25.2 points through 11 games, but he’s been on a roll recently. I’m betting on him shining on offense once again, so I’ll ride the hot hand at Utah.

Over his last three, Irving has averaged 31 points on blistering 67/82/52 shooting splits. He’s hit the Over in two of those three, including a 43-point eruption at Denver. Irving went for 23 in his first meeting with Utah, but he can get one more basket tonight.

Home-road splits favor the Over for this prop tonight, as Irving has scored 30.3 points per game on the road against 22.3 at home. The odds on this one are a little shorter than I’d typically prefer, but this is a reasonably safe wager at -115.
