My analysis
The Dallas Mavericks finally snapped their four-game losing stream on Saturday night with a win over the Spurs, and it was quite a sigh of relief after losing those four games by a combined eight points.
And while an absence from Luka Doncic would make another Dallas loss seem very likely, there is an element to this game that gives it real upset intrigue.
The Oklahoma City Thunder have been dealing with their fair share of injuries as well as of late, especially in the front court with Chet Holmgren, Jaylin Williams, and Isaiah Hartenstein out.
It's at that exact spot in this matchup where the Mavericks find themselves with a seemingly endless amount of talent between Maxi Kleber, Dereck Lively, and even Daniel Gafford who chipped in a pivotal 22 points on 9-10 FG shooting last night on top of adding seven rebounds.
If that three-man big-man rotation can take advantage of their rather large size, talent, and depth at the position, they should be able to keep this game competitive.
And as their usage and scoring continue to rack up over the course of the game, we should see more weak-side help come from the Thunder and open up space for the likes of Klay Thompson and Kyrie Irving.

And as mentioned previously, as we see Lively and the rest of the Dallas frontcourt carve up the Thunder's undersized defense, we should see open looks become available for Klay Thompson over the course of the game as help comes.
