It's an Eastern Conference battle on Friday night in the nation's capital when the 3-1 Washington Wizards play host to the 1-4 Indiana Pacers.
Washington is coming off two full days of rest, while Indiana last played on Wednesday in Chicago — a game in which the Pacers lost by 15.

Pacers vs Wizards picks and predictions
We're only a handful of games into the NBA season for these two teams, and both have already faced one another.
In the season opener in Indianapolis, the Wizards prevailed 114-107, led by the trio of Bradley Beal, Kristaps Porzingis, and Kyle Kuzma.
The Wiz currently rank just 27th in pace at 97.3, compared to Indiana's 102.8. However, they've been highly efficient from the field, starting with a FG% of 49.4.
While Indiana is hitting 14 threes a game so far (sixth in the league), it's doing so at a paltry rate of 34.5%. Meanwhile, the Wizards are shooting less from beyond the arc but have been much more efficient thus far.
In Washington's first win of the season over Indiana, Porzingis hit double-digits in rebounds with 10. He's since followed that up with uneven performances of 3, 11, and 7.
What we do know, however, is that Porzingis cleaning up the glass against Indiana may have been a bit deceitful. The absence of center Myles Turner from the Pacers' lineup left them weak and exposed down low, and he's since returned to the court.
The two-time blocks leader has incredible athleticism for a big man and should be able to keep KP away from the rim tonight.
At a number of 8.5, I'm hitting the Under on Porzingis' rebounds.
My best bet: Kristaps Porzingis Under 8.5 rebounds (-115 at bet365)

Pacers vs Wizards spread analysis
Washington is currently a 5.5-point favorite tonight compared to being -2.5 road chalk in Indiana to begin the season. The Wizards were also favored by 5.5 in their latest 120-99 win over Detroit this past Tuesday.
The Wizards clean up at home against squads with bad road records, as they're 5-0 ATS in their last five against teams coming in with a win percentage under .400.
The Pacers are 0-4 ATS in their last four meetings in Washington and 1-4 ATS in their last five games overall.
Currently, 74% of the public is backing Washington -5.5 over at our Covers Consensus page. The Wizards are 2-0 on home court this year, and all trends point towards them remaining unbeaten at Capital One Arena.
Pacers vs Wizards Over/Under analysis
Indiana comes into this matchup 2-3 to the Under, while Washington has cashed the Over just once.
Dating back to last season, the Under is 1-7 in Washington's last seven overall and 5-1 when their opponent scored 100+ the previous outing (Indiana last scored 109 against Chicago).
In the first meeting between these two teams, the total was set at 228.5, which is the same as tonight's O/U. The game finished at 221 total points, and with Turner back in the fold, I expect the final score to be even lower.
