It's Valentine's Day, so what better way to celebrate than with some NBA player props that I love?
There are some great matchups on the board, including the Celtics taking on the Bucks, the Kings facing the Suns, and the Warriors visiting the Clippers.
Those great matchups mean great options in the NBA betting market. Can De’Aaron Fox continue to ride the “new-dad” high when he takes on the shorthanded Suns? Plus, we back Paul George with a nice plus-money prop vs. the Dubs.
Here are my best NBA player prop picks for Tuesday, February 14.

Hot Fox
The Phoenix Suns are still awaiting the debut of Kevin Durant. When he comes back the Suns are going to be one of the most dangerous teams in the Western Conference. Tonight, they’ll have to play a team that is already dangerous in the Sacramento Kings.
With this Suns team lacking solar power at the moment, slowing down De’Aaron Fox might be a problem.
The Kings’ All-Star point guard is having a fantastic season, averaging 24.6 points on 50.6% shooting while adding 6.2 assists and 4.3 rebounds per game. After the birth of his child at the beginning of February, Fox is on top of the world and he’s playing like it. Fox has gone for 31 or more points in three straight games, shooting 53.2% from the field.
The Suns have struggled to contain opposing guards since the trade deadline, with Mikal Bridges and Cam Johnson now members of the Brooklyn Nets, and Landry Shamet and Cam Payne still injured.
On Feb. 9 against the Atlanta Hawks, Trae Young was able to burn the Suns for 36 points on 10 of 18 shooting while Dejounte Murray added 19 points going 8 of 14 from the field. Then on Feb. 10 against the Indiana Pacers, Tyrese Haliburton and Bennedict Mathurin combined for 40 points on 14-for-24 shooting.
Fox’s point total for this one is set at 26.5 for this matchup. He’s scored at least 29 in six of his last seven games. I’m betting he keeps riding the new-dad high and takes advantage of this matchup and goes Over once again.
De'Aaron Fox prop: Over 26.5 points (-109)
PG gets paid
The Los Angeles Clippers are still trying to find some consistency in their game. After a stretch where they won eight of 10 games, they’ve now dropped two in a row, to the Mavericks and the Bucks.
Tonight, they’ll have a great opportunity to get back on track when they host the Golden State Warriors. The Warriors have not only struggled on the road this season but are dealing with a rash of injuries.
The Clippers did a good job of building their depth at the trade deadline, but this team is still all about Kawhi Leonard and Paul George. It’s PG-13 who has a prop worth looking at in this matchup against the Warriors.
George is still one of Clippers' best 3-point shooters but he’s also been putting in more work on the glass of late. George is averaging 6.2 rebounds per game this season but that is up to 7.0 over his last 10 games.
Golden State ranks 19th in rebounding rate and 22nd in opponent rebounds per game, and will be running a very short bench with their multitude of injuries.
George has grabbed seven or more rebounds five times in his last nine games, and the matchup against the Warriors has me thinking he will do it again.
The plus money here is the cherry on top.
Paul George prop: Over 6.5 rebounds (+115)
Unicorn sighting in bigfoot country
Kristaps Porzingis is red-hot and the Unicorn will be a matchup nightmare when the Washington Wizards visit the Portland Trail Blazers on Tuesday night.
Porzingis is having a solid season for a Wizards team that currently sitting in 10th place in the Eastern Conference. He is averaging 22.9 points while shooting 37.9% from 3-point range. He is also adding 8.6 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game but lately, he’s been getting buckets at a crazy rate.
Porzingis has gone off for 32 points or more four times in his last six games and is averaging 29.2 points on 59.6% from the field, including 51.4% from beyond the arc. He'll be a matchup problem for the Blazers.
That’s because, funnily enough, Portland ranks 23rd in the NBA in both opponent points in the paint and opponent 3-point shooting percentage. The Blazers will also be without an interior presence with Jusuf Nurkic still sidelined.
Meanwhile, the Wizards could once again be without Kyle Kuzma, who has missed the last four games with an ankle injury, which means more scoring opportunities for Porzingis. I’m backing Porzingis to go Over this modest point total of 24.5.
Kristaps Porzingis prop: Over 24.5 points (-113)
