Tonight marks the two-week checkpoint of the 2021-22 NBA season, and we're already starting to see some compelling betting trends emerge.

Unfortunately, with just five games on the slate tonight, the NBA betting markets aren't as plentiful as we're used to seeing them, but that hasn't stopped us from lining up three great bets from around the Association.

Check out our NBA prop picks for Tuesday, November 2, as we bank on some of the NBA's best to do their thing.

Jimmy Butler's set the bar fairly high for himself over the past few seasons, but even by his standards, the 2021-22 season has started with a bang for him and the 5-1 Heat.

Butler's averaging a career-high 25.3 ppg so far, which he's dialed up to 28 in the past four games. In that four-game stretch, he's 3 for 4 against tonight's points total of 21.5, facing the Dallas Mavericks and their 20th-ranked adjusted defense. Jimmy Buckets may also have to shoulder a greater load on offense, with center Bam Adebayo still questionable for tonight.

Dorian Finney-Smith is the only legit cover for Butler on the Mavs' roster, and they may be thinner protecting the rim from Butler's physical slashing, with potentially both Kristaps Porzingis and Maxi Kleber sidelined.

Jimmy looks like he's found his groove and we have full confidence backing him to bully the Mavs.

Pick: Jimmy Butler Over 21.5 points (-115 at William Hill)

The books are clearly expecting regression from Rudy Gobert, but we think there's still some more value to be milked from the Jazz center's hot start.

Gobert's averaging 16.3 ppg and 17.2 rpg so far, good for a combined 33.5. Tonight, he faces a total of 28.5 in his points + rebounds market, a total that he's cleared in five of six games so far (the lone exception being against the Bucks on the second night of a back-to-back).

Tonight, a rested Gobert goes up against Sacramento, a team with a very crappy reputation on D, who owns the NBA's 22nd-best rebound rate and allows the third-most points in the paint.

It's a great matchup on paper and all trends point to the Over, so until Gobert shows actual signs of slowing down, we're gonna keep riding this.

Pick: Rudy Gobert Over 28.5 pts+rebs (-105 at BetMGM)

One of the more slept-on developments of this season so far has been LeBron James' transition into a full-on floor-spacer. Just under 45 percent of LeBron's total field goal attempts this year have come from beyond the arc, as he appears to be taking the task of creating space for Russell Westbrook hands-on.

Unfortunately for Bron, he hit some pretty awful variance his past two games, going 1-16 from distance. Fortunately for us, it means we get his 3-pointers made prop at 2.5, with the Over paying plus money.

In three prior games, LeBron hit four, five and five threes. He's attempting nine per game and hits 34.5 percent for his career, meaning even a subpar 3-for-9 night would clear this prop for us.

Tonight's matchup is especially compelling, given that the Houston Rockets have the NBA's fourth-worst adjusted defensive rating, and concede three-pointers at the league's third-highest rate.

Count on Bron to keep gunning in this one, and break out of whatever funk he's been stuck in.

Pick: LeBron James Over 2.5 threes made (+118 at FanDuel)

Is that trend sustainable, or did that team benefit from opponent injuries, scheduling quirks, or garbage-time noise?"
