A new week in the NBA kicks off with some intriguing matchups across a slate of eight games, which of course means plenty of NBA player prop bets to be found on the hardcourt.

Today, we look at a pair of 3-point props for shooters who have been lights out to start the season, as Seth Curry and the 76ers are at home to the Knicks while Harrison Barnes and the Kings play host to the Suns.

Check out our NBA prop picks for Monday, November 8, as we bank on some of the NBA's best to do their thing.

This offseason, the New York Knicks went out and got some shooters after averaging just 97 points per game in their first round loss to the Atlanta Hawks, bringing in Kemba Walker and Evan Fournier.

But unfortunately that backcourt, along with the likes of Derrick Rose, don’t exactly bring much to the table when it comes to perimeter defense. The Knicks allow the third most 3-point attempts per game, at 41 per contest, while ranking 23rd in opponent 3-point percentage.

Now, the Knicks visit the Philadelphia 76ers, who are doing just fine without Ben Simmons, getting off to an 8-2 start this season. And while the Sixers aren’t a high-volume 3-point shooting team, when they do let it fly, they don’t miss a ton.

It should be no surprise, as the 76ers’ top sharpshooter is Seth Curry. The shooting guard has started the season with a hot hand (even by his lofty standards) hitting 50 percent of his attempts through Philly’s first 10 games.

We are getting a good number for Curry’s made threes in this matchup, presumably because he just went 0-4 from deep the last time the Sixers faced the Knicks back on Oct. 26. But Curry is capable of lighting it up at any time and is averaging 2.6 makes per game. Bet on him to find his shooting touch in this one.

Pick: Seth Curry Over 2.5 Made Threes (-115 at FanDuel)

The Minnesota Timberwolves have hit a rough patch after what was a promising start to the season. The T-Wolves have lost four in a row after a 3-1 start, averaging just 96.8 points per game over that stretch. On top of that, Minny has been just dominated on the boards this season.

The Timberwolves rank dead last in the NBA in rebounding percentage and in opponent rebounds per game. Monday night, Minny and its sub-par glasswork head to Memphis to take on Ja Morant and the Grizzlies.

The Grizz have been off since Friday, so they’ve had all weekend to stew about their disappointing 115-87 road loss at the hands of the Washington Wizards. Morant had an off night against the Wizards, scoring just 11 points on 4-17 shooting.

But what makes this Grizzlies team better equipped to bounce back after a loss like this is the support Morant has this season. Particularly, the team hopes it can get a fully healthy season out of Jaren Jackson Jr.

The power forward is having a tough time from the field, averaging 13.6 points on 34.2 percent shooting, but it is not deterring him on the defensive end, as he is helping out with 5.8 boards and 1.8 blocks per game.

Jackson should feast on the glass in this matchup against a Wolves team that tends to get pushed around on the inside. Take the Over on his rebounding total here, as it's a number he has gone Over in each of his last two games and five times in nine starts this season.

Pick: Jaren Jackson Over 5.5 Rebounds (-110 at DraftKings)

If nothing else, the Sacramento Kings look, at the very least, like they will be a competitive bunch this season and are off to a not-to-shabby 5-5 star. But tonight will be a true test of their development, as the defending Western Conference champion Phoenix Suns come to town.

The Suns come into this game red-hot, having won four games in a row, averaging 114.3 points per game over that span. But while the Suns have their sights set on another deep run in the NBA playoffs this season, one aspect of their game has been a little lacking early on.

The Suns have had a real problem defending the 3-ball this season. Phoenix ranks 24th in opponent 3-point attempts per game and only the Pistons and Grizzlies are allowing opposing teams to hit their trays at a higher rate than the 38.5 percent the Suns allow. The Kings definitely have some sharpshooters that can take advantage of that.

While most people will immediately think of Buddy Hield (and why wouldn’t you, the guy attempts over 10 threes per game), don’t overlook teammate Harrison Barnes.

The small forward has been a leader for the Kings early on this season and while he does it all on the court, his 3-point shooting has been outstanding. Barnes is shooting 43.3 percent from beyond the arc this season on 6.7 attempts per game.

Now, Barnes has hit a bit of a cold streak, but that’s why we’re getting this low number. It may be a bit juicy, but he should have no problem hitting a couple of shots from deep in this matchup.

Pick: Harrison Barnes Over 1.5 Made Threes (-170 at DraftKings)
