The Association returns with a jam-packed schedule tonight after a day off for the midterm elections. There are 14 games on the NBA betting board, which means no shortage of options in the player prop market.

Tonight, we look at a Nets player trying to find his shooting rhythm, while Ja Morant should be a pest on the defensive end of the floor against the Spurs. And then there are the Lakers — their poor shooting and lack of effort make them a rebounding prop bettors’ dream.

Check out my best NBA player prop picks for Wednesday, November 9.

Net returns

Let’s get this out of the way first: The Brooklyn Nets are a dumpster fire of an organization right now. But for now, let’s focus on basketball, more specifically tonight’s matchup against the New York Knicks.

On top of everything else, the Nets’ offense just hasn’t been in sync this season. Brooklyn ranks 13th in offensive rating and 18th in 3-point shooting percentage. Basically, the team hasn’t been getting reliable scoring from anyone not named Kevin Durant. That includes shooting guard Joe Harris.

It’s been a slow start to the season for Harris, who is averaging just 7.4 points per game while hitting just 32.6% of his 4.8 3-point attempts per game. But this is a guy who has been a deadeye shooter for most of his career.

Harris has shot 45.8% from 3-point range on nearly six attempts per game over the last four seasons and it looks like the Nets are trying to get him going over the last couple of games.

Harris has logged a season high in minutes in each of the last two games, going for over 30 minutes, and has attempted 13 threes in those contests.

Tonight, he gets to try and keep working out the kinks when he goes against a Knicks team that allows the most 3-point attempts per game in the NBA. At better than even money, it's worth taking a shot on Harris to find his shooting touch.

Joe Harris Prop: Over 2.5 made threes (+102)

Thief in the night

The San Antonio Spurs have cooled off after a surprisingly hot start to the season, and now they’ll have to deal with Ja Morant and the high-flying Memphis Grizzlies.

The Spurs' hot start was fueled by a creative, high-tempo offense and some hot shooting. But while the shooting rate hasn’t kept up, the tempo has, as the Spurs have the third-highest pace of play in the NBA.

That high pace means more possessions. And more possessions for a young and inexperienced team means more turnovers. San Antonio has the third-highest turnover rate and leads the NBA in opponent steals per game.

The Grizzlies aren’t a huge steals team, but that doesn’t include Morant. The superstar point guard averages a steal per game over the course of his career. He’s also recorded two steals twice over his last four games and that includes two steals against another high turnover team, the Portland Trail Blazers.

Morant to go Over 1.5 steals tonight at +180, is well, a steal. Back Morant to pick a few pockets tonight as we try and pocket a nice win.

Ja Morant Prop: Over 1.5 steals (+180)

Board meeting

The Lakers stink.

Their 2-8 record is only better than the Orlando Magic and the Houston Rockets at this point in the season. The roster is a mess, and has been horrible at virtually all forms of shooting. Mix all those missed shots with a lethargic level of effort so far this season, and the Lakers have been a rebounding prop bettor’s dream.

So, it should come as no surprise we’ll look to take advantage of this matchup when the Lakers visit in-house rivals the L.A. Clippers on Wednesday.

The Lakers' poor shooting is something to behold. They rank dead last in 3-point shooting percentage and 28th in effective shooting percetnage. To make matters worse, the team ranks 28th in rebounding rate, and 29th in opponent rebounds per game.

That means it should be a big day cleaning the glass for Los Angeles Clippers center Ivica Zubac.

The Clippers big man has been a beast on the boards, averaging 11.2 rebounds per game, and has gone Over 10.5 rebounds five times this season, which includes grabbing a massive 17 boards in the team’s season-opening victory against the Lakers.

There’s no reason to think Zubac won’t have another big day on the glass tonight.

Ivica Zubac Prop: Over 10.5 rebounds (-115)

It’s not an interesting story. Seriously.
