It's a quiet Thursday in the NBA, with just six games on the NBA betting board. The final matchup tips off at 10:30 p.m. ET between the San Antonio Spurs and Los Angeles Clippers.
The Clips look to climb the Western Conference standings, now that they have a healthy Kawhi Leonard and Paul George, while the Spurs are likely more concerned with winning the draft lottery.
This is the biggest spread of the day, with the Clippers installed as 12.5-point home favorites and the Over/Under at 233. Here are my best free Spurs vs. Clippers NBA picks and predictions for January 26.
Spurs vs Clippers best odds
Spurs vs Clippers picks and predictions
The Spurs are going through a rough rebuilding year but point guard Tre Jones has been a bright spot. Jones leads the team with 6.4 assists per game and he does an excellent job of limiting turnovers and finding open teammates.
The Over/Under on Jones assists total for today is set at 5.5. Jones has eclipsed that number in six of his last eight games and is averaging 6.5 apg over that span.
Although the Clippers are solid on the defensive end of the floor, Jones has played well against them lately. He dropped eight dimes against them last week and had games of 10 and six assists against the Clips earlier this season.
My best bet: Tre Jones Over 5.5 assists (-130)

Spurs vs Clippers spread analysis
The Spurs lost to the Lakers last night and are 1-8 SU (5-4 ATS) in their last nine games. Their only victory during that span came at home against a Nets team that was missing both Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving.
They won't get the benefit of facing a short-handed Clippers team today since (shockingly) both Paul George and Kawhi Leonard are expected to suit up.
George and Leonard have played just 99 games together since joining L.A. before the 2019-20 season. The Clips have gone 71-28 SU in those contests and have won their last three games with both superstar wings healthy.
They are coming off a 133-115 win against the Lakers, where they had a 23-point lead at the half, and they defeated the Spurs 131-126 on the road last Friday.
The Spurs have the fourth-worst record in the NBA at 14-34 and they rank dead-last in net rating at minus-8.9. It also doesn't help that they lost their second-leading scorer Devin Vassell (19.4 ppg, 40.4% shooting from deep) to a knee injury on January 2.
Spurs vs Clippers Over/Under analysis
The Spurs have been brutal on both ends of the floor and are 28th in the league in offensive rating while ranking 30th on defense. However, we're seeing a big total for this game because their fast tempo has led to some high-scoring contests, including a 257-point explosion when these sides faced off last week.
The Clippers have struggled on offense for much of the season and rank just 28th in the league with 110.2 ppg. That said, they've been much better on offense lately which makes sense, with both Leonard and George healthy.
Leonard is putting up 29.3 ppg over his last eight games while George is averaging 23.2 ppg on the season.
It's not just those two that are producing, however, as head coach Tyronn Lue appears to have found his best lineup with Terance Mann starting and George running the point.
Reggie Jackson is embracing his new role off the bench while Norman Powell has played himself into Sixth Man of the Year consideration after averaging 21.1 ppg in his last 10 games.
