The Thunder — winners of 12 of 13 — visit the 76ers, who will once again be without Joel Embiid. Can Philadelphia stay competitive and cover a double-digit spread, or will OKC run away with this one on the road?

My Thunder vs. 76ers predictions expect Isaiah Hartenstein to dominate a depleted Sixers frontcourt and Paul George to deliver another strong performance at home. Read my NBA picks below for more.

Thunder vs 76ers prediction

My best bet
Isaiah Hartenstein Over 26.5 points + rebounds + assists (-120 at bet365)

My analysis
The Isaiah Hartenstein odds have been among my favorite to bet on this season, and I'm going back to the well tonight. Joel Embiid and Andre Drummond will both be sidelined again, leaving undersized, 6-foot-8 big man Guerschon Yabusele to man the paint. The 7-feet tall Hartenstein should be able to take advantage of that favorable matchup.

In his first season with the Thunder, Hartenstein has averaged 11.9 points, 12 rebounds, and 4.2 assists across 29.7 minutes. Those are all career-best numbers for the former Knick. He’s shouldered a heavy load as the lone healthy center for the Oklahoma City Thunder, and he’s soaked up minutes and usage at that position.

The big man has only hit the Over once in his last six, but he’s come close multiple times. In that six-game span, he’s averaged 25.5 points + rebounds + assists. On the season, he’s hit the Over in 14 of 23 games, going for 26 PRA twice and 25 once.

Hartenstein has averaged 30.1 PRA at home compared to just 25.9 at home, and he’s piled up at least 27 PRA in nine of 12 away from Paycom Center. The Sixers have been middle-of-the-pack in rebounds and paint points allowed over the last 10, and Philly ranks 21st in defensive rating in that span. Philadelphia has allowed 39.3 PRA to opposing centers.

Thunder vs 76ers same-game parlay

Isaiah Hartenstein Over 26.5 points + rebounds + assists

Thunder -10.5

Paul Georgia Over 11.5 rebounds + assists

OKC has the best point differential in the NBA at 12.7, so this is not an outrageous spread on the road. The Thunder have gone 12-6-1 ATS on the road and 11-5-1 as the road favorite. Philly sports the worst ATS record at home with a pitiful 4-13 mark. The Thunder are 9-5 ATS when favored by 10+ points, and I’m backing them to cover against a Sixers team missing Joel Embiid yet again.

Much like Hartenstein, PG’s combo prop is one that I’ll keep betting on until it burns me. On the season, he’s averaged 9.5 assists + rebounds on the road and 13.2 at home. George has hit the Over in seven of eight at home, and he’s reached the mark in three straight overall. He's posted 9.3 assists + rebounds with Embiid healthy and 12 with Embiid sidelined, hitting the Over in nine of 13.
