Week 1 of the NCAA Football season wraps up with an ACC showdown, as the Florida State Seminoles host the Boston College Fighting Eagles.

I've scoured the player props for both teams and pieced together a same-game parlay for this matchup, which includes an anytime touchdown for Roydell Williams.

Best Boston College vs Florida State SGP for Week 1

Roydell Williams anytime touchdown

Thomas Castellanos Over 199.5 passing yards

DJ Uiagalelei Under 194.5 passing yards

Roydell Williams anytime touchdown

Roydell Williams was the busiest back for the Seminoles against the Yellow Jackets, carrying 12 times for a team-high 38 yards and a TD. Going back to last season, Williams has now found the endzone five times in his last six regular season games.

The transfer from Alabama will get a chance to face a defense that was literally run over all last season — surrendering 193.4 yards per game — which ranked second-last in the ACC.

Thomas Castellanos Over 199.5 passing yards

While FSU only rushed for 128 yards in a 31-29 win over BC last year, they did punch in two rushing majors.

That game was probably the highlight of Thomas Castellanos’ season. As a sophomore, he threw for a season-best 305 yards and a touchdown while also running for 95 yards and a tuddy of his own.

Georgia Tech spent much of the game pounding the rock, but Hayes King still was able to pile up 146 yards passing on 16 attempts.

With BC expected to be playing a lot of catch up in this one, Castellanos should be slinging it more. He attempted at least 23 passes in 10 of 12 regular season games in 2023, and that volume should push him Over 174.5 yards.

DJ Uiagalelei Under 194.5 passing yards

Let’s wrap up with FSU quarterback DJ Uiagalelei, who went 19-for-27 for 193 yards against Georgia Tech.

While the numbers looked decent, his play wasn’t. Other than orchestrating an opening drive TD and game-tying major on their last possession in the fourth quarter, the Seminoles’ offense was mostly pop-gun.

FSU tallied just six points on five possessions, generating four yards per play. The Fighting Eagles may struggle against the run, but their pass defense was Top 4 in the ACC a year ago, surrendering 197.7 yards per game. Anything close to that level of play should keep Uiagalelei in check.
