Opening line

Arkansas +31.5, Over/Under 68.5

Why the line moved

UPDATE 11:30 A.M. ET SATURDAY: Alabama opened -31 and got to -32, but this morning is down to -30.5 at PointsBet USA. Still, tickets are running 4/1 and money beyond 5/1 on the Crimson Tide. The total bounced between 68 and 68.5 a couple of times and is currently 68.5, with 86 percent of bets and 95 percent of money on the Over.

UPDATE 6 P.M. ET FRIDAY: PointsBet USA opened the Crimson Tide -31 and reached -32 this afternoon, with 80 percent of point-spread bets and 93 percent of spread money on Alabama. The total inched from 68 to 68.5, with 86 percent of bets/95 percent of money on the Over.

---

Another game, another massive point spread in favor of the Crimson Tide. Alabama opened -31.5 at FanDuel on Monday afternoon, and the number is still there Monday night on what is surely light action, with 94 percent of tickets and 98 percent of money on the Crimson Tide. The total is stable at 68.5, with ticket count split 50/50 and 95 percent of early cash on the Under.

Opening line

West Virginia +10.5, Over/Under 58.5

Why the line moved

UPDATE 1 P.M. ET THURSDAY: The past half hour brought news that, due to COVID issues in West Virginia's program, this is yet another game among those canceled this week.

---

The Sooners are already up to -13.5 Monday night at FanDuel, with 90 percent of early tickets and practically every early dollar on the spread going to Oklahoma. The total is down a point to 57.5, with 62 percent of bets on the Over, but 67 percent of money on the Under.

Opening line

Tulsa +12.5, Over/Under 44.5

Why the line moved

UPDATE 9:45 P.M. ET WEDNESDAY: On Tuesday, this matchup joined Michigan-Ohio State in being canceled by COVID issues, in this case with Cincinnati's program. The two teams will still meet, though, in the Dec. 19 American Athletic Conference championship game.

---

Cincinnati (8-0 SU) aims to maintain its perfect record against a 6-1 Tulsa outfit. This line initially moved down to Bearcats -10.5 at FanDuel, popped back to -12.5 and is at -11.5 Monday night, with 72 percent of tickets and 64 percent of money on Cincy. The total quickly jumped three points to 47.5 and is now 46.5, but the betting splits are quite disparate, with 89 percent of tickets on the Over, but 75 percent of money on the Under.

Opening line

Iowa -2.5, Over/Under 44.5

Why the line moved

UPDATE 2:45 P.M. ET SATURDAY: FanDuel saw a big move on this game, opening Iowa -2.5 and going to Hawkeyes -3.5, then jumping the fence all the way to Wisconsin -2.5, and it's now Badgers -1.5. Sixty-six percent of spread bets and 56 percent of spread dollars are on Iowa. The total dropped from 44.5 to 40.5, with 53 percent of bets/62 percent of money on the Under.

UPDATE NOON ET SATURDAY: This is one of the biggest movers of the week at PointsBet USA, from Iowa -3 to Wisconsin -2.5, and it's now Badgers -2. "Fifty-five percent of bets are on Iowa, while 59 percent of the handle is on Wisconsin," PointsBet's Patrick Eichner said. The total opened 43.5 and is now 41 on some interesting betting splits: 52 percent of tickets are on the Over, but 80 percent of money is on the Under.

UPDATE 6 P.M. ET FRIDAY: This game made a big leap at PointsBet USA, from Iowa -3 to Wisconsin -2.5, with 56 percent of bets on the Hawkeyes, but 71 percent of money on Wisconsin. The total initially went up from 43.5 to 44, but it's now down to 41, with 54 percent of bets and about 90 percent of the money on the Under.

UPDATE 6 P.M. ET WEDNESDAY: Iowa opened -2.5 at DraftKings, but by early Tuesday morning, the line jumped the fence to Wisconsin -1.5, and it's now Badgers -1. Wisconsin is taking 56 percent of spread tickets and 69 percent of spread money. The total dropped from 44.5 to 41.5, with 84 percent of tickets and practically all the early dollars on the Under.

---

FanDuel made the Hawkeyes short home favorites, and those 2.5 points evaporated quickly, as this game is down to pick 'em Monday night. And that's despite 72 percent of tickets and 65 percent of money going to Iowa. The total is down to 43.5, with 88 percent of bets and almost every dollar so far on the Under.

Opening line

Ohio State -29.5, Over/Under 66.5

Why the line moved

UPDATE 6 P.M. ET WEDNESDAY: Though this game is canceled, there is related news: the Big Ten today waived its minimum-games requirement, so Ohio State will now play in the Big Ten championship game against Northwestern on Dec. 19, which also helps keep the Buckeyes in line for a College Football Playoff spot.

UPDATE 11:30 P.M. ET TUESDAY: As announced earlier today, Michigan-Ohio State was canceled due to continuing COVID issues within the Wolverines' program. That puts a dent in the Buckeyes' College Football Playoff hopes. Ohio State has played only five games and has no more on the schedule for the moment, leaving the Buckeyes a game short of the six-game minimum set by the Big Ten to to be eligible for the league title game.

---

Michigan lost its last eight meetings against archrival Ohio State, and the past two years, the Wolverines have been the proverbial one-legged man in a butt-kicking contest, losing 62-39 in 2018 and 56-27 in 2019. This year's Michigan squad is apparently far worse, as the point spread indicates.

The initial move at FanDuel was up a point to Buckeyes -30.5, but the line is -28.5 Monday night, with tickets and money in the 3/1 range on Ohio State. The total moved from 66.5 to 67.5, with 55 percent of tickets and 83 percent of money on the Over.

Opening line

Florida -22.5, Over/Under 67.5

Why the line moved

UPDATE 6:45 P.M. ET SATURDAY: Florida moved from -22.5 to -24.5 early, then spent most of the week at -23.5 before ticking to -22.5 today at FanDuel. Ticket count is approaching 4/1 and money is 3/1 on the Gators. The total initially went up from 67.5 to 68.5 and is now down to 65.5, with tickets and money just shy of 2/1 on the Over.

UPDATE NOON ET SATURDAY: PointsBet USA opened the Gators -24 and moved to -23, though ticket count is 2/1 and money beyond 5/1 on Florida. The total is down to 66.5 from 68, but tickets and money are both in the 2/1 range on the Over.

UPDATE 10 A.M. ET SATURDAY: BetMGM Nevada's Scott Shelton said the Gators opened -24, dipped to -22 pretty quickly early in the week and have been at -23 since Tuesday. "It's 2/1 tickets on Florida, but money is just over 2/1 in favor of LSU," Shelton said. The total moved from 67.5 to 68.5 by Thursday, then receded to 68 Friday.

UPDATE 1 P.M. ET THURSDAY: The SuperBook at Westgate opened the Gators -24 on Monday and made a couple of ticks down to -23. "Not much volume yet, but there were a couple of guys who took +24 Tuesday to force us down to our current number," SuperBook risk manager Rex Beyers said. The total is stable at 67.5.

---

Louisiana State is having a train wreck of a season as the defending national champion, and it looks as if more derailment is likely Saturday in Gainesville. Florida is already up two points to -24.5 at FanDuel on Monday night, although the betting splits are kind of interesting: the Tigers are drawing 55 percent of tickets, while the Gators are attracting 64 percent of the money.

The total is up a point to 68.5 at FanDuel, with ticket count 2/1 and money approaching 9/1 on the Over.

UPDATE NOON ET SATURDAY: Miami dipped from -4 to -3 at PointsBet USA, where 57 percent of bets are on the Hurricanes and 59 percent of the money is on the Tar Heels. The total made a big surge from 63.5 to 71.5. "Heavy action on the Over, with 93 percent of bets and 96 percent of handle," PointsBet's Patrick Eichner said.

UPDATE 6 P.M. ET FRIDAY: Miami opened -4 at PointsBet USA but spent most of the week at -3, with the Hurricanes taking 53 percent of bets and the Tar Heels 60 percent of money on the spread. The total surged from 63.5 to 69.5, with tickets and money more than 9/1 on the Over.

UPDATE 1 P.M. ET THURSDAY: The SuperBook opened Miami -3.5 and moved to -3 early in the week. "All Carolina +3.5 thus far, which is why we're at 3 now, with everyone else," SuperBook risk manager Rex Beyers said. "But that one should be a good two-way game, given that it doesn't go first thing on Saturday morning and with it being closely matched on paper."

---

This line has bounced around through Monday night, dipping to Miami -2.5, then rebounding to -3.5 at FanDuel, where North Carolina is taking 58 percent of early bets and 74 percent of early cash. The total is up to 66.5 from 64.5, with 94 percent of bets and 67 percent of dollars on the Over.

UPDATE NOON ET SATURDAY: Army is out to -7.5 from an opener of -5.5 at PointsBet USA, with 75 percent of tickets and 88 percent of cash on the Black Knights. The total is a seemingly minuscule 36, down 5.5 points from the opener at PointsBet, with 55 percent of bets and 75 percent of money on the Under.

UPDATE 10:45 A.M. ET SATURDAY: BetMGM Nevada opened Army -6 and is up to -7.5. "Ticket count is roughly 3/1 in favor of Army, and there's almost no money on Navy," BetMGM Nevada's Scott Shelton said.

UPDATE 1 P.M. ET THURSDAY: Army opened -6.5 at The SuperBook and went up a notch to -7 on Tuesday morning. "Navy-Army is two-way for now, but light volume. I would assume (volume) changes by kickoff Saturday, and it should stay two-way," SuperBook risk manager Rex Beyers said.

---

The Black Knights are up to -6.5 Monday night at FanDuel, where Army is collecting 81 percent of tickets and 96 percent of money on the spread. The total opened at just 41.5, yet is already down three points to 38.5, with 93 percent of bets/96 percent of cash on the Under.

Opening line

UCLA +3.5, Over/Under 62.5

Why the line moved

UPDATE 6:45 P.M. UPDATE NOON ET SATURDAY: Southern California opened -3 at PointsBet USA, dipped to -2.5 and is now -3.5. "Bet count is heavily going with USC, at 77 percent, but good two-way on the handle, with just 57 percent of the money backing the Trojans," PointsBet's Patrick Eichner said. The total is up to 64 from 62.5, with 70 percent of tickets/79 percent of money on the Over.

UPDATE 6 P.M. ET FRIDAY: Southern Cal moved from -3 to -3.5, dropped to -2.5 and is now -3.5 at PointsBet USA, where 81 percent of point-spread tickets are on the Trojans, but point-spread money is split 50/50. The total initially fell from 62.5 to 61, ticked to 62 Tuesday and is up two points today to 64. PointsBet's Patrick Eichner said there's limited action on the total, with ticket count dead even, but 85 percent of money on the Over.

---

Southern Cal opened -3.5 at FanDuel and is down a point to -2.5 Monday night for this crosstown rivalry clash, although tickets and money are both about 2/1 on the Trojans.
