The Ohio Bobcats will welcome the Miami (OH) RedHawks to Peden Stadium for a Tuesday Night, Mid-American Conference (MAC) match-up.
Yes, the MAC Attack has returned to unusual game times. Starting this week, Week 10, the MAC will have games on Tuesday and Wednesday night to gain some spotlight over some of the other conferences in college athletics.
To make this happen, Miami (OH) and Ohio had a bye week for Week 9 and will be ready to go for this one.
Currently, Ohio is 1-7 on the year and have lost four of their last five games. Can the Bobcats steal one from the RedHawks on ESPNU, Tuesday night?

Miami (OH) vs Ohio predictions
Miami (OH) -7.5 (-110)
The Ohio Bobcats are a basketball school. The Bobcats made the NCAA Tournament in college basketball but won’t get near bowl eligibility in football.
Ohio is averaging just 21.1 points per game while allowing 31.1 points per game. On offense, they average 360.1 yards per game while giving up 427 yards per game on defense.
The Bobcats literally give up 224.5 yards on the ground and have been horrible in the ground game, missing tackles left and right. The coverage for Ohio isn’t all that bad but with no help from the defensive line, it’s been really hard to put together stops.
Quarterback Kurtis Rourke has four touchdowns and four interceptions thrown for Ohio on 152 attempts this season. He actually hasn’t been all that bad, but with only a fair group of receivers and a terrible offensive line, there’s a pretty low ceiling to what this offense can do.
Meanwhile, Miami (Ohio) is scoring 23.8 points per game while allowing 22.8 points per game. The offense is very balanced and solid except for the fact that the pass protection breaks down countless times. The good news is that starting quarterback Brett Gabbert is healthy and back in action after throwing for 207 yards and two touchdowns last week against Ball State.
On defense, Miami (OH) has struggled in coverage, but they dominate in the run game. The RedHawks have allowed just 139 yards per game on the ground and continue to effectively rush the passer.
The only way Ohio can contribute offensively is by passing the football and with the lack of playmakers in that position group, it’s not going to be easy. Grab Miami (OH) at -7.5.
Over 52.5 (-110)
I’ve learned over the years. It’s never smart to take an under in a MAC game. Both offenses are averaging less than 24 points per game but both Ohio’s defense is just dreadful. You will watch as Miami (OH) runs right through Ohio easily for quick drives as the Bobcats miss dozens of tackles in this game.
Those quick scores should help reach the over and Ohio, with Rourke back in action, should have at least some success moving the ball for points.
We might need a garbage touchdown or two late but the over seems like the play in this spot. I wouldn’t be surprised if Miami (OH) came one touchdown away from the total themselves.
