The Ohio State Buckeyes will travel to Memorial Stadium to take on a disappointing Indiana Hoosiers team in Bloomington.
Ever since Ohio State lost to Oregon on September 11, it seems as though the Buckeyes have found their mojo again. Ohio State has knocked off opponents by massive deficits and is back in the hunt for a College Football Playoff spot.
Meanwhile, Indiana is 2-4 on the season and has been extremely poor on offense while only getting worse after quarterback Michael Penix Jr. went down with an injury.
Is it possible for Indiana to find any success offensively against Ohio State? Find out with our picks and predictions for Ohio State vs Indiana on October 23.

Ohio State vs Indiana predictions
Ohio State -21 (-110)
Ohio State has won its last four games by a combined score of 218-57. That’s an average score of 54.5 to 14.25.
Its game against Oregon was a wake-up call and Ohio State instantly responded, going back to its second half against Tulsa on September 18.
Ohio State is averaging 562.7 yards per game and 48.5 points per game. This offense has been even better as of late, scoring 54.5 points in its last four games against poor opponents.
Indiana’s defense hasn’t been all that bad, but because the offense is so incompetent, the defense looks worse than it actually is. Coverage down the field has been solid for the Hoosiers, allowing just 209.3 yards per game passing.
The only problem is, if there’s one weakness on Indiana’s defense, it’s the inability to rush the passer. Therefore, Ohio State quarterback C.J. Stroud should have plenty of time in the pocket for Ohio State and make some big-time throws to the best wide receiver group in America.
Meanwhile, Indiana is riding the season out with Jack Tuttle, a junior quarterback who has three interceptions to just one passing touchdown this season. He’s completed just 51.4 percent of his passes and is really going to struggle once Ohio State’s pass rush gets to him.
Under 59.5 (-110)
At this point, I just don’t think Indiana can contribute offensively. At most, this Hoosiers team might score 14 points. But again, Indiana’s defense probably doesn't get enough credit for how well it has played.
Indiana held Michigan to 20 points and Penn State to 24 points. Those are two Top 10 teams in college football, and they were both held to a reasonable amount of points.
The ceiling for Ohio State would likely be about 45 points against Indiana and that’s if everything goes right. So, therefore, even if Indiana scores 14 and Ohio State scores 45, this game would still go under 59.5.
