The Myrtle Beach Bowl, aka the only game on Monday's college football bowl schedule, sees the Old Dominion Monarchs take on the Tulsa Golden Hurricane.
The Monarchs went on a massive five-game winning streak to close out the regular season. That was enough to go 6-6 on the year and make a bowl game.
Now Old Dominion will look to continue the win streak in the Myrtle Beach Bowl against Tulsa. The Golden Hurricane won their final three games to earn a bowl appearance and will now be looking for their fourth win in a row.
Which streak will continue in the Myrtle Beach Bowl? Here are our picks and predictions for the college football game on Monday, December 20 at 2:30 pm ET.

Spread analysis
You can't question the heart of the Old Dominion Monarchs after they went on a five-game winning streak to make it into a bowl game. At one point, they could’ve quit at 1-6, but finished the season 6-6 and made the playoffs.
The offense averaged 28.5 points while gaining 386 yards per game. D.J. Mack Jr. opened the season as the Monarch's starting QB but led his team to just one win through six games. Then freshman Hayden Wolff took over and led Old Dominion to a 5-1 record with the lone loss coming against a very good Western Kentucky team.
Wolff only threw for 10 touchdowns but ultimately led this team to greater heights and has a real future with the program. Pass protection has been a bit shaky, but the run game has been elite with Blake Watson leading the team with 1,035 yards on 201 attempts this season.
On the defensive side of the ball, the Monarchs easily improved in the second half of the season. The secondary balled out and the rushing defense did its thing as well. The Monarchs allowed 372.7 yards per game and did enough to get wins.
On the other hand, Tulsa is led by quarterback Davis Brin, who has thrown 16 touchdowns and 16 interceptions on the year. With those 16 picks, it’s going to be a long day against Old Dominion's solid secondary.
Tulsa averaged 425.1 yards but only scored 26.3 points per game. The yards were there but so were the turnovers.
Defensively, Tulsa was sensational, allowing just 379.5 yards per game. Still, the Golden Hurricane allowed 27.4 points per game because field position was always poor for the defense to start drives thanks to all the interceptions.
It’s going to be a low-scoring game, but I like Old Dominion with the freshman quarterback.
Prediction: Old Dominion +9.5 (-110)
Over/Under analysis
Brin's 16 interceptions combined with Old Dominion's secondary being its prime asset means Tulsa will be in tough on Monday.
Despite allowing 147.8 yards per game on the ground, Tulsa's rush defense has actually done well, rarely missing tackles in the open field.
So with that, I’ll grab the under.
Prediction: Under 53.5 (-110)
Best bet
I’m still rolling with Old Dominion +9.5 as the best bet. Both teams are extremely hot and needed multiple wins to get into a bowl game.
Tulsa nearly defeated Cincinnati on the road and the public won’t forget about that. Therefore, the line is a bit too high at this point. Old Dominion can pull off the upset against a Tulsa team that just loves turning the ball over.
Pick: Old Dominion +9.5 (-110)
