NFL Week 7 Odds and Betting Lines: Chargers -1.5 vs Cardinals in Desert

We’re past the opening third of the schedule with NFL Week 7 odds open for business.

With Sunday's games finished or in progress, we're left with a Monday Night Football double-feature, starting with the Baltimore Ravens at Tampa Bay Buccaneers and closing with the Arizona Cardinals hosting the L.A. Chargers.

Patriots vs. Jaguars odds

Opening line

Jacksonville looked horrible in a one-sided loss to Chicago on Sunday morning and now has to stay in the UK for this run-in with the Patriots. Oddsmakers opened the Jaguars as 5.5-point neutral-site chalk and that spread is up to -6.5 on Sunday morning. The Over/Under opened at 41 and climbed as high as 43 O/U before coming back to 42 points.

Lions vs. Vikings odds

Opening line

This is a huge game in terms of the NFC pecking order. Minnesota is coming off a bye week while Detroit dumped Dallas in Week 6 but suffered a big loss with Aiden Hutchinson going down with a broken leg. The Vikings opened -1.5 at most shops and are right there on game day with the Over/Under of 49.5 jumping to 50.5 with play on the Over.

Texans vs. Packers odds

Opening line

Green Bay blasted Arizona in Lambeau Field on Sunday, picking up its fourth win in the past five games. Houston rolled over New England but stays on the road for its second straight away game. Bookies opened the Packers as 2.5-point home favorites with the total at 47 points. The spread has risen to Packers -3 while the total has ticked up to 48.5 O/U.

Seahawks vs. Falcons odds

Opening line

Atlanta earned its third straight win with a wash against the Panthers in Week 5. The Falcons opened as 2.5-point home faves facing a Seahawks squad coming off a mini-bye after losing to San Francisco last Thursday. Some books are now sitting Atlanta -3. Seattle has plenty of injuries on defense to keep an eye on ahead of this game. The total opened at 49 points and is as high as 52 on Sunday.

Titans vs. Bills odds

Opening line

Buffalo opened as an 8.5-point home chalk versus the Titans, playing on a short week after a close win in New York. That line has leapt to Bills -10 with Buffalo adding WR Amari Cooper and the Titans having to start Mason Rudolph over the injured Will Levis at QB. The total opened at 42.5 points and has dropped to between 40.5 and 41, depending on the book. Bills RB James Cook is expected to play in Week 7.

Eagles vs. Giants odds

Opening line

The Eagles opened as 3-point road favorites in this NFC East encounter, and that spread got to -3.5 before good news on the Giants' stars brought it back to the FG. The total hit the board at 43 points and dropped to 42 with early play on the Under but is now at 42.5 points. Giants WR Malik Nabers and RB Devin Singletary will play today.

Bengals vs. Browns odds

Opening line

Cincinnati opened between -4.5 and -5 for this AFC North battle of Ohio and is now as high as -5.5. Cleveland will not be making a switch at QB and sticking with struggling starter Deshaun Watson in Week 7. This O/U opened at 43 points and is as low as 41.5 on Sunday morning.

Dolphins vs. Colts odds

Opening line

The Colts are coming off a win at Tennessee, with veteran QB Joe Flacco once again leading the way. Anthony Richardson is back under center for Indianapolis in Week 7. Miami is coming off the bye, giving the Dolphins time to heal up and get backup QB Tyler Huntley up to speed. Indianapolis opened -4 and got as high as -4.5 on Sunday night before dropping as low as -3. The total hit the board at 42.5 O/U and is up to 43.5.

Panthers vs. Commanders odds

Opening line

Washington has been among the more popular public plays and opens at -8.5 versus Carolina in Week 7. Given that spread sat on the dead number, early action on the Commanders has this spread flirting with -10 on Sunday morning. The total hit the board at 50.5 points and is now between 51.5 and 52.

Raiders vs. Rams odds

Las Vegas continues to struggle on offense and opened as 4.5-point road underdogs before traveling to L.A., with the Rams coming off a much-need bye week. Well, that spread has soared to as high as Rams -7, even though Los Angeles has been plagued by injuries on both sides of the ball. This Week 7 total opened at 43.5 points.

Chiefs vs. 49ers odds

Opening line

The Kansas City Chiefs are fresh from the bye and taking on the San Francisco 49ers in a rematch of last year’s Super Bowl. The 49ers have enjoyed a mini-bye after winning last Thursday but have some missing pieces on defense. San Francisco is a 1.5-point home favorite with the Over/Under total at 47 O/U.

Jets vs. Steelers odds

Opening line

The market varied for Sunday Night Football’s spread, with some books opening Pittsburgh as a 2-point home favorite while other shops give the Steelers +1.5 versus the Jets, who are coming off a Monday loss at home. After New York traded for WR Davante Adams on Tuesday, the market settled with the Jets as the consensus favorite with the spread between 1.5 and 2.5. The total opened at 37.5 O/U, dropped down to 36.5, but has since bounced up as high as 40 O/U with Russell Wilson getting the start at QB for the Steelers.

One of two Monday games has the Baltimore Ravens coming to Raymond James Stadium to face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Oddsmakers have the Bucs getting +3.5 with the total between 49.5 and 50 points.

Chargers vs. Cardinals odds

Opening line

The second kickoff on Monday has the Los Angeles Chargers laying -1.5 points on the road at the Arizona Cardinals after opening as big as -2.5. This has since dropped back to Chargers -1.5 at most books.

Arizona left Lambeau Field with not only a Week 6 loss but a slew of injuries on both sides of the ball, including WR Marvin Harrison Jr. (concussion). This total opened at 43 and has climbed as high as 44.5 O/U.
